It is actually a quite good basic email sending service. BUT Sending email campaigns with always the same sender name in 2024 is crazy. This greatly reduces the open rate. They should definitely allow to edit senders name per each campaign (as every single email campaign sending service allow you to). I would modify the review accordingly. Until now - the service is just too basic.

I just starting using Shopify Email. I like the ease of use and the detailed reports. Two things I wish the app allowed: resizing of images and wrapping text around images. Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with it so far.

It's good, I would improve how the product show in the email when you upload the widget from the app, shows the full product + the url which is very good but the design of the product is not well integrated in the rest of the design and can't be modified.

I don't know SQUAT about email marketing/engagement (I'm brand-spanking-new to E-Comm), so I've been dragging my feet about setting it up. Turns out, it's not as bad as I thought. It's super beginner-friendly. Templates are EASY to customize and partnered with the Flow app, makes engaging customers through email almost effortless.

This app is really great and already got us quite a lot of sales. Easy to use and good customization. Of course it lacks some features mostly in templates and integration (i.e. social media). But it is a free app. Well done!

In the last two months the performance of the editor has absolutely tanked. It makes it impossible to type your emails out in the editor anymore. I'm talking 5-10 seconds of delay for typing and what appears on the screen. Typing everything out in a separate program like google docs is also super annoying since shopify email doesn't support paste without formatting and trying to format text in shopify email is a joke. You can just enter a font size, your forced to use a slider and hope you can get the exact value you want. Absolutely sucked all the joy out of making emails. Also give me back the ability to format text (bold, italics, etc on buttons). The section limit is awfully low too.

I'm so glad I don't have to go outside of Shopify for a mailing service. I enjoy the quality and the freedom I have to customize the emails, for every purpose.

Anyone can use the Email App. You don't have to be a tech genius to send a basic email from Shopify. The price/fee after 10k emails a month, is very reasonable.

I'm not sure why, but personalizations don't work for us. We have two storefronts and neither can get personalizations to work. We reached out to support over the past year and just get a link to an article, but no real support.

I love the Shopify email app - it’s very user friendly. The templates are generous and easy to customize.

So far so good. Still new to all of this, but its simple enough to understand and work your way to what you need done. Also super easy to understand what workflow does what and what email does what.

Application suddenly throttling emails, not providing marketing reports data and taking days for test emails to come through. Support is every 24 hours and a solution hasnt been found.

Easy to use app! We are a tiny business who likes to send out the occasional email to our customers. This has great tracking, segmentation, and analytics.

I like the convenience and efficiency of automated email campaigns with customizable templates, along with features that help maintain consistent branding. Being able to preview emails on different devices and access detailed reports on sent emails adds an extra layer of control and insight to campaigns.

As of right now, i'm still getting used to the app and setting up various processes. I only give it four stars because I'm still learning it. But i would recommend i to another business owner.

We found the app was easy to use. Although sending out a max can be sorted by email address server. Love the fact that the input of photos is so easy, no need to resize and then input. At times it doesn't want to react to an action, but giving it a bit of time, works. Would like to see more control on font size. It is one of the easiest app to use as opposed to others which we used.

Gret for someone like me who need to be walked through the steps. I was so excited to use my branding colors!
