had so much problems connecting the 2 platforms, ended up calling both Meta and Shopify. Just had to uninstall and install the FB app on Shopify to make it work. but was a real headache at first.

we're really unhappy with meta you keep telling us we breach your community rules but we have read them and don't see how we might possible breach them when we request a review you give no reasons it's not fair and it's no way to treat any customer - esp. since we'd pay for more advertising if you would revert substantively so we could fix any issues

This app is exhausting. It constantly disconnects from Facebook and forces me to reverify everything like it’s my first time. The setup process is overly complex, Meta’s approval flow is vague and inconsistent, and product syncing often breaks for no reason. I’ve spent more time fixing errors than actually running ads. If you're serious about e-commerce automation, this app slows you down. Shopify merchants deserve a smoother, more stable integration. Until Meta fixes this, it’s not worth the headache.

terrible! We've never been able to start ads because the system wouldn't take any of our cc's as a form of payment and then it restricted our account. after review, we received a message that those restrictions were cleared but they weren't! Months later we're still locked out. We've tried reaching out to support multiple times... nothing! They're no help! And there's no way to have another review of or account started!

It is good apart from the fact I cannot activate my fb shop because I am based in the UK. That is quite disappointing.

It is a struggle trying to get the catalog back on the platform once it is removed for a simple information update

My Shopify account has been review for over 3 months. I have reached out to Facebook many times and I still don't know what the issue is. Still waiting.

The app has a bug that doesn't allow me to verify my business even though the store is already live and approved. After submitting my biz info, a verification code lands in my email but the screen never changes for me to type in that code.

Generally works great, but now it tells me that I have an "Action needed" but I cant click "Open app" and all settings are green and active.

The app is good because it led to getting live agent support with Meta, whereas going through Meta directly it was impossible. AI continued to "block" me from getting live agent support. Meta is way to complicated with too many platforms (Business Suite, Commerce, Ads Manager, Business Manager, etc.). I have received live agent help 2-3 times from Meta in the past year and although they solve some immediate problems other problems arise due to too many new Meta accounts (and pixels) needed to be created but not being linked to the other correct Meta accounts. If only Meta had the live support that Shopify offers and was set up in a less confusing format.
