Absolutely do not allow this app to create a Facebook Business Portfolio for you, especially if you already manage multiple ad accounts. It will create one automatically, violating Facebook's terms for Business Portfolios (which is ironic since this is their official Shopify app), then they will restrict your account, and you won't be able to run ads. Nor will you be able to fix it by deleting the portfolio and creating a new ad account.

The app helps connect Shopify products to Facebook and Instagram, but setup can sometimes feel confusing for new users. Product sync is useful, and the sales channel integration is powerful once connected. Clearer navigation and easier business asset management would make the experience much better.

this app needs to be updated. It doesnt allow you to change your fb or ig page login once its on one page. so its not allowing me to switch btw my different profile accounts. Meta all together needs a lot of updates. just over this whole app and its blocking me from getting more money. I see why it has 3 stars it sucks simple

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Meta has disabled my personal account along with all of my connected business accounts, cutting off access to over 10 years of business data, communications, and customer connections. There is no functional support system available. Every support pathway requires logging in, yet login is blocked — including attempts to access support through the Shopify integration. This creates a closed loop with no way to reach a human or submit an appeal. An automated AI system has made a serious and damaging error, and there is no accessible process to correct it. This lack of accountability and human support is unacceptable, especially for businesses that depend on these platforms for daily operations.

Very pathetic experience with the app and meta in general, catalogue mismatch is such a common issue but developers never fix it. When you speak with their team they ask yu to custom change the code. Now what is the point of paying meta and Shopify if one was going to dive into custom coding. Sadly these big fish are out of reach of commoners like us but they do cost us a lot

Been in UI/UX and software development for nearly 20 years, I've never seen a more difficult tool in my life Many configurations that don't get connected by default, and impossible to troubleshoot. The Chat service is a joke. They never respond, and the chat service disconnects while you're waiting sometimes hours to get someone. To make it worse, they're happy to take your money for ad campaigns even when the app is not configured correctly, resulting in just a loss of funds with no benefit.

I am unable to connect Facebook & Instagram app to my Shopify store. I have tried it several times for over a week, but it is repeatedly showing an error message. I am being billed monthly, but I am unable to use the sales channel to sell products. it's so disappointing and discouraging!! The support is equally pathetic. I have no idea what the issue is because nothing is being pointed out, except that an error occurred.
