I wouldn’t say customer service was unresponsive — the support staff did reply and acknowledged the issue. However, it was beyond their scope, so they escalated it. That’s when the waiting began. When you run an online store 24/7, timely resolution is critical. Delays can really disrupt operations.

As it is integrated so seamlessly with the Shopify backend, it's very easy to manage. The storefront is easy to create and update and it essentially runs itself.

The Shop app is incredible! Always accurate and dependable which is a huge help in selling and buying online these days!

Disgusting service! I do not recommend! It looks attractive, but they cheat with payments. I set up payments "same day" in this service, but I was deceived twice and made to wait almost 7 days. I had to go back to another financial provider. I repeat, I do not recommend it at all!

I have contacted support for over 6 months and i am still not able to get my account back- they emailed me saying im good to use the account and we are approved but noting has changed in the backend. Everytime i talk to an agent they tell me they will get it fixed in 48 hours, but noting is being done.... I am honestly very surprised that SHOP PAY is this bad with support... its honestly very disappointing...

Shop has made me a lot of money the last few years. I'm deducting a star because the Shop app ad campaigns are a rip off. With what Shopify charges for the order is based on subtotal + taxes + shipping, and it guarantees that Shopify will always make more money from the order than you do. It will also push the lowest order value, still charge you the full fee, and take most of your profit. By the end of the campaign, Shopify took 47% of my profit in ad conversion fees. Shop app is great for another source of sales, just highly recommend staying away from the ads.

Shop is an app that promises a lot and delivers next to nothing. The app delivers about 0.1% of monthly sales. Customer support from Shopify is non-existent.

We’ve been using the Shop app as a merchant and have found it to be an excellent tool for connecting with our customers. The way it handles images is particularly good. Our product photos scale down perfectly so customers always get a clean, professional look. We’ve also seen a real benefit from the seamless product review integration. Displaying customer feedback directly in the app has helped build brand trust and gives new shoppers the confidence to make a purchase. Overall, we highly recommend the Shop app to any merchant looking for a user-friendly, visually polished, and trust-building platform for their store.

Everything is here to run a successful business. Certain details of the app are somewhat daunting for a new user. On the flip side, I see amazing opportunities for expansion.

Advertising is a TOTAL RIP OFF!!! I sold 2 items and was charged more than my profit margin from SHOP... I will NEVER Advertise with them again

The experience was terrible. Encountered a plenty of high risk fraudulent orders as soon as I opened it. Not only did I lose product, sales, but I was even charged a $12 processing fee per order? Orders can't be canceled and even my bank account is under control Not recommended at all

Love having shop pay, in todays society there are a lot of people struggling to make ends meet, and with shop pay it offers our clients another way to make things affordable, thank you shop pay.
