Intercom’s Shopify app has been a game-changer for our customer experience. The multistore beta is working great and will be a huge asset as we continue expanding globally. That said, there are a couple of areas that could be improved: It would be helpful to have clearer visual distinctions—such as more detailed labels or color-coding—between stores. When creating new orders through Intercom, there’s currently no way to enter or select a customer address, which can lead to fulfillment delays. Looking forward to future updates—this has the potential to be a game-changer for our operations.

The multistore beta works fantastically and makes Intercom a fantastic option for ecom companies with many stores. However, I see options for improvement: - Displaying delivery address for an order details without requirement to go to Shopify - A more clear and legible product list in the order - Refunding and cancelling without having to leave Intercom - Creating new orders doesn't allow to enter or select address for the customer I think the UX side can be improved significantly but the functional side of importing data from multiple stores in the beta works without any bugs and glithches.

This is a great app. The main downside for us is that we can't connect multiple stores to our single Intercom instance, but I know that Intercom is working on improvements for that at the moment. Looking forward to when we can connect everything up!

Intercom itself is great, although it's geared more towards SAAS than e-com, it still provides more value than Gorgias imo. The actual integration however is pretty poor, lacks features and the worst part is it really slows your site loading times down by a considerable amount. Fix the loading issues and its probably a 4 or 5*

In a few clicks, I had intercom installed and live on my store. Was able to have my store's chat and help email all go into a single place. My customers can even check their order status on the intercom widget on my site so not as many customers are asking for help with order status.

The intercom app is great in general and can be integrated simply on most of the basics Shopify websites / themes and it's good for conversion if you can use it properly (we mostly use the live chat functionnalities). The pricing is a bit weird and it can get expensive if you keep all the contacts but it's easy to adapt to different kind of scenarios. *If you have a custom theme or web app or if you don't want to use the default intercom themes you might have to do a bit of development work in order to make it work seamlessly and efficiently but it's nothing to complicated and their doc is good enough.
