READ THIS before you make the switch from another Subscription App. Evolutionarily humans are geared more towards avoiding pain that taking risk that a new solution may be better, so it's natural that there's hesitancy in making a switch from another platform. But like many others, I recognized that Recharge was becoming increasingly expensive and was seduced by the potential savings with Appstle. The reviews looked good and the fact that they assured a smooth transition helped ease my hesitancy. How wrong I was. I write this now as we enter day 3 of their migration process. Now take note that during migration (which is supposed to take up to 24 hours), your current subscribers cannot access the portal to edit or cancel current subscriptions through Recharge. They claim this is a white glove service but I have so far spent 6.5 hours in the in their chat support and have cycled through 6 different support agents and the migration process - They never told me about the fact that your current subscribers won't be able to access their subscription management portal until we were at the point of needing to turn it off. That means 24 hours. It was not ideal but we could send a message to subscribers telling them about a 24 hour interruption. - The process is meant to take 12-24 hours. I'm now on day 3. - I need to wait 30 minutes between messages before anyone updates or responds, even in an active message thread - When they migrated, 20% of active subscriptions didn't have a next order date from Recharge. Their support is unable to explain why - Appstle imported only 1/3 of total subscriptions The customer support is polite but I just want to have a subscription app that works. Even if Recharge is expensive, at least it does what it says it will do. I have given up on getting my issues resolved with this team. My next step is to remove the app and switch back to Recharge. I feel it's important to make sure that others don't endure the same problems as me. If you've got a system that works, DON'T make the switch to Appstle.

If you are migrating from recharge or any subscription app on Shopify, Appstle is the best (yet free) you could try out. You'd get better features with the paid plan, but they are absolutely the best with great customer support.

Very reasonable pricing, a great set of features and fantastic customer support. Unless there is something very specific you are looking for that Appstle son't have, you likely wont find a better subscription app right now. Even then, they have a feature request service and although I haven't used it, if it is anything like their responsiveness in support I imagine they add any feasible additions fairly quickly. Would absolutely recommend Appstle Subscriptions.

This app enabled me to launch a quarterly subscription and has worked well, team is quick to respond and helpful with questions. My only drawback is I was hoping they could expand the amount of cutoff days for subscription renewal to accommodate a quarterly subscription, instead of only monthly, and they weren't able to make that adjustment. It threw my plan for a loop a bit, but I made some changes and I still love having the app to use.

We love the Appstle Subscriptions App! It’ssuper easy to use, even if you’re not super tech-savvy. Setting up our subscription options and “Build a Box” feature was way simpler than we expected. Appstle's customer service is excellent through and through - especially Brooks. We had to transfer subscriptions from Yotpo and the process took US a couple of minutes and THEM less than two hours. Their offerings include all the necessary features that customers and admins are looking for, and we're very excited about a couple of new releases in the near future. Kudos Appstle!

I have just installed this app and initially had an error message when trying to create a plan. I had no need to be concerned as Brooks on support was happy to help and this was fixed within a minute. Brooks then asked if they could assist any further and I requested a couple of small customizations which were completed again within a few minutes. Great service and I'm looking forward to using the app.

Kate has been a great help in integrating the customer data from my old subscription company (which is now out of business). She made the process seamless. Edit: Unfortunately, I will be switching to a different app. You cannot reschedule, edit, or cancel customer subscriptions without the $ 100 USD business premium. This is vital for my business, as often customers ask me to edit their subscriptions for them. This would cost over $1200 a year, which is not reasonable.
