So far my experience has been great. I would recommend, easier than most other POD apps. The only thing I recommend is making the DPI warning clearer during upload and allowing different DPI options for various print sizes when adding products to stores. For example, when I was uploading an A4 file, it initially said 150 DPI was required. After updating the file, it changed to 300 DPI, then went back and forth between giving incorrect advice, which was confusing. It would also be great if the mockups could be improved. They are quite small and do not realistically show what the final product looks like.

Designing here is pretty great, didn't think I could ever be designing anything, but this app is user friendly and would highly recommend it to friends and families.

Works mostly Really good. The mockup never really seems to be centred when I'm building a shirt. Maybe the way the T's are photographed for the website. Other than that its seamless.

Almost 2-3 years with Gelato and I'm really disappointed with the new prices. No way you can make a margin with this prices. Especially the framed posters

CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS GOOD, IF THERE ARE ANY PRODUCTS THAT IS OUT OF STOCK SHOULD FIX THAT, BECAUSE I'LL HAVE MY CUSTOMERS WONDERING WHERE THE ITEMS ARE, THEN OUT OF NOWHERE YOU GUYS SAY, OH THAT'S OUT OF STOCK, WHEN IT SHOULD'VE BEEN MITIGATED EARLIER. THE SERVICE IS GOOD THOUGH. NOT GOING TO DOWNGRADE THE COMPANY FOR SOMETHING SO LITTLE.

Super easy to handle, the dashboard gives a clear oversight. I work with Gelato now for two days and I like that I can add the designs in bulk (but not the Label - inner neck?), the price editor with the shipping cost, very practical. It has a AI Mockup image creator and the images are very good, and an AI editor for title and description. I decided to work with Gelato, because it is based in Germany for me as a European based store a pluspoint. Let's see how it works further.

The print quality is very low. Some products have smudged ink, and it's clear they will wear out after just a few washes. It took a long time to arrive, and I imagined that for the price, the product would be much higher quality. I can't offer this level of quality to my customers. High cost, slow delivery, and poor quality.

This is my first year working with Gelato, and it has been an absolute disaster. Despite paying for a membership that is far from cheap almost $240 per year, the service quality has been completely unacceptable. Even though I placed many orders before their advertised Christmas cut-off date of December 15, a large number of orders from as early as December 8 have still not been printed or shipped at all. When I contacted support and opened multiple cases, the only response I received was essentially. You can NOT talk to real people, they have auto respond Ai agent that auto copy and paste everything you ask. “There is nothing we can do. If it does not arrive by December 24 or December 26, contact us again.” That is not customer support. That is avoiding responsibility. For a platform that charges a premium membership fee, this level of operational failure is inexcusable. they do not have any in-house printing facilities so they are unable control anything. TRASH If you cannot keep up with holiday demand, DO NOT accept Christmas orders. If you cannot fulfill orders on time, DO NOT advertise a December 15 cut-off date. Because of Gelato’s failure, my business reputation has been damaged, my customers are angry, and I am forced to deal with refunds and complaints for issues entirely outside my control. This experience has been misleading, unprofessional, and costly. I would strongly warn any seller who depends on reliable fulfillment, especially during peak seasons, to think twice before trusting Gelato. Now i have almost 50 orders that will not deliver by Christmas, have to eat up all cost to refund to my customers and get negative reviews. They refunded 1 order as a courtesy back to GELATO wallet to be used for the next order which I will not use. Going to open charge back will my bank.

Gelato is a reliable print-on-demand service with excellent quality for fine art prints. The EU-based production ensures fast delivery and consistent results, especially on matte papers. The platform integrates smoothly with online stores and makes the entire fulfillment process simple and efficient.

Horrible customer service. Constantly 'busy' live chat that doesn't get back to you. Constant payment issues. Constant problems with the actual app. When creating a product, there is a good chance it will miss something when publishing. This will include things like photos and variants. Very frustrating to use. The Gelato+ membership allows them to set very expensive RRP prices to force you to use Gelato+. Edit: 3 days I waited for a reply for a serious problem. They sent me a generic email which didnt help, and told ther my other issues where a "work in progress" and I had to figure out myself A custome made an order and then Gelato removed the product from shipping to my country. EDIT: NO one has bothered to contact me or get back to me, so I cancelled my subscription and moved to Printify. The time it will take to move everything over will be worth not having to dealing with this company and their buggy app.

Just started my business and already sold five shirts the quality choices are great so many options and they responded to me pretty reasonably timing. Quality of the print was amazing. I love the name, gelato So far everything is Okie dokie Very new business not really advertising yet but it will be fun To see it grow and offer more products through this Company

I tried Printful for my art prints and found it difficult to use for someone not technically inclined. Gelato is much easier to use and works seamlessly with Shopify. I also like that they use Giclee printing 12 color for the prints. I'm waiting to receive my samples. They are also more environmentally friendly printing and shipping worldwide.

Complicated, lots of pop-ups, cant select more than 1 mockup and when finally added it appears out of stock on my site.

constant payment issues when i have a positive balance and auto replenish set up. Customer service takes over a week to respond. Printful isn't great but go back to it because Gelato is worse

The Gelato App was very easy to integrate with Shopify. To add the products to Shopify from Gelato was a very straight forward process

VERY nice and smooth initiation and setup! I use Shopify and was just browsing for options, I am super happy I found Gelato!

WARNING! Gelato intentionally does not remove out of stock inventory, knowingly overselling products at the user's expense. This tactic is straightforward to maintain high sales, while the user must handle customers who cannot receive their orders. Additionally, they do not refund out-of-stock items, forcing the user to deal with customers and absorb the costs. This has been a known issue for years, and customer support claims they are working on it; however, they often avoid providing further details and attempt to close the chat. Horrible customer service. They respond more quickly to reviews here than they do in their customer service ecosystem. The chat function keeps you in a useless AI support loop, making it difficult to contact a live agent.
