I moved across from Klavyio in order to save money. Whilst Klavyio is more advanced i don't use the segments. Just use it for newslettes and flows. I was a little nervous about moving to Shopify mail and Automations but so far it's working and im sure Shopify will improve these items even more in the future. I had 25,000 subscribers in Klavyio and its kills me they want to charge me $500 US a month. Sure it converts but i found an alternative which is easy to use and does the trick for a few bucks. I did try to downgrade / suppress a bunch of customers in Klavyio but that was almost impossible for me to do. They just kept asking for $500 US each month.

Was using another app (paid) and learned that it was already included in my Shopify subscription. Really easy to make sure links are accurate, products are included properly and enough formatting choices. I always like to use something already integrated.

This app was honestly GREAT for years, but as other reviewers have noted, an update was made recently that forces my shoppers to land on my site with Canadian settings. There is no way to change the URL they prepopulated with "en-canada". This is happening with the "Products" component in the email builder which is obviously the the most important thing to do right. I had a huge campaign that depended on this email and only realized afterwards that all the product links were broken. So many lost sales because of this....

I just started using Shopify and I am impressed with all they have to offer. I sent my first email marketing ad yesterday and I am already seeing activty. So far so great!! YANKEETRADERS

Really easy to amend the layout of your emails and link them to your products or any other part of your website. MUCH simpler than the platform I was using previously!

I am rating it at first as it isn't user friendly, at first, but after a few attempts, I was able to use the templates with ease. I must admit that I enjoyed using the templates and that I am able to edit and design it the way suitable for my store. And that links to your shop, social media, etc., are already embedded into the templates, no need to copy and paste. I would recommend the App!

I've never used another email system before but Shopify Email has made it REALLY easy for me to take the plunge and just get started with my marketing. Great templates and pretty dang intuitive to use.

Overall it's really easy to use and a great free alternative to a paid platform like Klaviyo. The formatting options are quite basic and sometimes glitchy, for example sometimes including a hyperlink changes the font on that section when the email goes out, but isn't visible to me in the draft.

this app is so much easier to use for Shopify stores; linking directly to my products, discounts, pictures, I no longer have to upload separate pictures and links and now can send a great sales campaign sent in under 10 minutes!

Now that my store is not getting shut down every other day i am learning how to manage my own admin backend changes. The AI helps with that , many of the instructions do not have accurate step by step instructions the screens have changed. However I love the speed in which i can make a change and publish it right away. I love the product features just learned how to create forms, overall i like the ease of working with the application.

So far I have enjoyed the app. It is easy to use and has some wonderful features. I do wish there was a better catalog of free images and gifs to use in the body of the email but overall I'm really happy with it and thankful that I have a way to stay connected with my customers.

I've just started using the Shopify Email App, and I have very easily created 4 custom email notifications templates. The app is easy to use and is easily customised. I created test runs in real time which allows you to edit if need be. I'm looking forward to exploring more as I continue on with the marketing side of things. :)

It suits me, easy to use, but I’m none to technical, if you are a professional its probably not enough for you. For me it’s simple to use for basic marketing emails.

It's pretty simple to use if you need to customize a template. I'm still learning about the available features but so far so good with testing. One issue was the spacers in the template I used didn't look as good on an iPhone as they did on an iPad.

i was dying on mailchimp which capped my contact list and decided to switch to brevo. they threw another loop at me when they cap monthly email sends... only to find out that shopify has had a solution all this time. FOR FREE. Can't recommend it more.

I have been using a paid email platform for 3 years but now wish I'd got started with Shopify email sooner. It's does all I need to do and is included in the Shopify subscription. Creating links is a breeze as it integrates directly with your store. Also no more concerns over synching subscribers across platforms. Recommended.
