I had a very frustrating experience with Upsell.com. There is no clear or real time overview of the costs you are building up while using the app. Charges are not visible in advance and are suddenly deducted, which came as a complete surprise. In my case the app generated €340.86 in upsell revenue, while €424.70 was charged in usage fees. Paying more than the app earns makes no sense for a merchant. The pricing structure is unclear and based on impressions that often do not convert, yet still count towards billing. Without clear cost visibility or safeguards this app is risky to use. I would not recommend this app unless you are willing to constantly monitor your Shopify bill and accept unexpected charges.

We didn't use the app for probably a year or so und forgot to delete it. With the time, the amounts charged went 10x out of nowhere. Last month they charged us $319 for nothing. Seems very criminal. Upsell.com team - if you want me to adjust this review, please refund

I wasn't able to try the app itself as it wasn't a fit for our store but the customer service of upsell is great. They respond quickly (shout out to Ashley) and can handle all types of inquiries!

BEWARE!!! THEY WILL CONTINUE TO CHARGE YOU EVEN WHEN YOU ASK THEM SEVERAL TIMES TO CANCEL!!!!!! Would not work with my theme and needed to write code for it. Would NEVER RECOMMEND. IM ABOUT TO CALL A LAWYER!!!

Upsell has helped me drive more revenue with minimal effort. I continue to test different offers on my thank you and order confirmation page and we see a path to continuing to drive higher cart values and real impact to our business revenue and profit.

Ich habe soeben die App mit dem Support eingerichtet. Es wurde mir sämtliche Arbeit abgenommen. Alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt und ich muss sagen, dass war eine Leistung auf Champions-League-Niveau. Sehr empfehlenswert! Und was hinzukommt: Die Kollegin war außerordentlich nett. ;-) Danke!!!

Worst experience I have ever had with an Shopify app, don't even try to install this app if you want to get scammed. Getting lied to by the customer service team and they will just ignore you. They said they will "look into the case and reply back with email" but I have gotten 0 answer in 10 days! They know they are just MRR scamming and that is their business model to scam others

the app developers will charge you based on how many orders your store gets, not on how many orders they convert for you but even orders that they've had nothing to do with. use other apps for more transparent pricing.

I don't think it's even been a week yet, and I've already gained about half a day's revenue from this add-in so far. I love that I can see the analytics on it to know where the sales are coming from and what's working. Great product so far!

I had been using this app for a long time, exclusively for post-purchase offers, but I was extremely surprised to discover a $299 charge for a full month without having been clearly informed of the pricing change beforehand. The app only generated a few hundred euros in revenue over the last 30 days, which makes this charge completely disproportionate. The most problematic part is that no refund is possible, even if the app is immediately uninstalled and not used during the billed period. This lack of transparency regarding the new pricing structure and the refusal to offer any prorated adjustment is very disappointing. I’m sharing this review to warn other merchants: make sure to carefully review the new pricing conditions before installing or reinstalling the app, as costs can be significantly higher than expected.

Mi experiencia ha sido muy muy mala. Descargué la app, al tiempo la actualizaron pero yo no la actualicé y la dejé de usar. Me dejaron de cobrar porque no tenía la app actualizada y no la estaba usando y 5 meses después me han cobrado más de 400 euros sin que haya actualizado la app y sin que haya dado el permiso para usar esta nueva app. Me he puesto en contacto porque es evidente que no se me debería haber cobrado eso y no me quieren hacer el reembolso. En ningún momento he usado la nueva app. En ningún momento he acpetado el cobro de la nueva app. En ningún momento he descargado la nueva app. En ningún momento actualicé la app. Y aún así me cobran más de 400 euros y no los quieren reembolsar. Muy mal servicio de atención al cliente y nulo interés en ayudar al usuario. Una lástima que todavía haya empresas que tengan que funcionar con estas prácticas.

Very difficult to set up. Support responds quickly but continually throws their terms at you that you are supposed to understand . Don't answer questions thoroughly enough for you to be able to get anywhere with support.

I was billed $400... WITHOUT MY CONSENT. Beware. I was introduced to Upsell.com by a close friend. I tried it out, couldn't make it work. I just moved on. 2 weeks later, I was billed $400 right away in ONE SINGLE BILL and they said it was because my 14-day trial ended. At this point I had made $0 from the app. I talked to customer service for 15 minutes - refused to refund me. I made a HUGE fuss. Finally a new agent comes in, and then agrees to the refund, which I appreciate. But, from a logical perspective, this is SKETCHY company. They bill you rightaway after the trial based on your TOTAL STORE ORDERS. Which means, if u have a big store - they gonna bill you big from the start even though you have not directly made any money from their app, which is BS. They then use the fine print to lock you in. LAST THING - the only way to cancel is to "uninstall the whole app" - which is again extremely sketchy. That forces people to stay subscribed just because I am not ready to entirely uninstall. I would STAY AWAY and use another upsell app. Their product may be good (untested for me) but their billing policy is SKETCHY AF. STAY AWAY. STAY AWAY.

Worst app ever. i installed it and deleted it within an hour, only to be shocked to find $2499 deducted from my account. When i contacted technical support, they said this is their policy. Be careful before installing the app, it’s not free. they’ll take your money, and it won’t be refunded.

They charged me $79 just for uninstalling the app. I didn't use it in any upsell on my website, and I still got charged $79 from nowhere. Don't uninstall this app
