Shocking customer service from the douchebags at Klaviyo. Been with them for 3 years now. Generally all ok. However we've recently reduced the number of contacts/profiles in our email list quite significantly (by around 50,000). We expected this to have a significant effect on our monthly bills, but it seems Klaviyo is still taking out the same monthly amount as they were prior to the reduction in profiles. I've spoken to them via live chat and email today, and was told that Klaviyo does not automatically adjust its billing down if the amount of profiles is reduced. Convenient. They were capable of automatically increasing our bills when our profile list was growing. But apparently they don't do this when the profile lists decrease. Even so I thought that once I'd pointed out that we did reduce our list size last month, and therefore this month's bill should be significantly smaller (by about $550), they would agree to refund me the difference, but they basically told me to check my terms and conditions and get lost. They wont refund me the difference. I am pretty dumbstruck by this. This seems very underhanded to me. Even if it's in the T's and C's to not do the right thing here stinks. Obviously they've now lost all of our business. Update 5th January 2025: after a bit of back and forth with Klaviyo's billing team, and getting nowhere, I decided to leave negative reviews in as many places as I could think. Miraculously 2 days after doing this I had an email from their management offering me the refund they should have given me in the first place. Just goes to show the power of reviews I guess!

Matt was very patient and helpful. He spent the time asking more questions and we finally uncovered the issue. Saved me giving up and hiring someone to fix what was in the end just my knowledge gap.

Very user friendly! Once you find your way around the app and get used to the interaction, it is AWESOME and very responsive. Definitely looking forward to increasing our revenue through the flows. 10/10!!

If you need service and no one responds its Klaviyo. I have had the worst customer service or no service from this company. When you try to get help there is often no one on the chat and you wait and wait and finally give up after an or hour or two. When they want you to signup they are very fast in responding and you get impressed by how great their service is but after you sign up, no one is there to find you. Stay away as far as you can because after sweet talk, there is no talk.

Totalmente recomendable como herramienta de Email Marketing compatible con Shopify. Es una herramienta muy potente, aunque cuesta aprender inicialmente, pero tienen mucha formación y un muy buen servicio de soporte. De todas las herramientas de Email Marketing que he probado, ¡sin duda me quedo con Klaviyo! También para Marketing Automation tiene muchas posibilidades con Shopify.

es muy molesto que al desinstalar la aplicación, te deje residuos, que luego con un programador debas de eliminar del codigo de tu pagina web. muy mal por eso.

Really great customer support - when I had an issue I received a response the same day, with a detailed video explaining the steps to resolve the problem, very helpful!

I was upset when some of my stuff was disabled it being partially my fault, although I wasn't fond of the situation Matt W from the support team got in contact with me and resolved my issues in a very timely manner, within 24 hours of my concern it was fixed, Matt did an excellent job in explaining everything very thoroughly even went out of his way sending a video with a voice over going over how to fix my concerns!! I appreciate Matts help a ton! Was very kind and professional and answered all my questions within minutes!!

Great email platform and integrates really well with Shopify. They've got all you need to set you up for success in the email space! Great support if you are on Klaviyo enterprise plan.

Klaviyo has been the perfect tool for our email marketing efforts and for our reviews. We are a bootstrapped startup using only social media and email for our marketing efforts so far and Klaviyo has made it so easy for us reach out to our community in a personalized way (easy flow creation, easy segmentation, etc.). We can't wait to grow with Klaviyo!

Easy to use, and its not expensive. Very affordable for small business who have limited resources for marketing.
