Customer service (tracy) was able to quickly and efficiently resolve the issue I was experiencing, although we are both unsure as to how it was caused. It would be helpful if the app had some form of display or option for "recently changed" rules to ensure that they are functioning correctly and no unauthorized changes have been made to existing rules.

Very happy with the app. We were able to block orders from VPN connections which were causing significant issues for us.

Our store was being harassed by a customer (we hadn't taken any of their money btw) who had been spamming orders, rude emails, & private calls for 2 weeks after we canceled their first order. We reached out to shopify and they recommended this app. Finally decided to do it after seeing the behavior wasn't going to stop. The ip blocker is intuitive to use and when I needed a review just to make sure I was doing it correctly Niel was very quick, efficient, polite, and patient in explaining how things worked and helping resolve the issue. We will be looking to use the app more once we go global (especially for blocking bots) but this small show of the app is promising and will help provide some relief for our small business.

This app is a fraud. I don't know who's leaving all the 5 star reviews. I tried this app to find out who was rushing my website at 5am once or more a week, skewing my Shopify analytics. I installed Blockify, turned on the VPN blocker and found out it was all traffic via HostRoyale Technologies, which is in India. I turned on country blocker as well. Nothing was stopping that traffic. I contacted support and was told "they might be using VPN, block their ISPs". But, that would be AFTER they had already accessed my site. So.... the VPN blocker doesn't work? I tried customer support again a few days later and just got the run around, trying to tell me that VPN blocker wasn't on before when the previous person confirmed it was. Bottom line - this app did absolutely nothing for me and customer service was useless.

Helps block fraud. I like that I can set rules to block specific conditions. This was needed after I experienced fraud orders for my online store. It's also afforable.

Blockify is very useful in preventing fraudulent orders. Their support team was also very helpful in getting the app set up in a way that was best for our company's needs. I specifically had a 5-star experience with Joy from the Omega Help Center live chat.

Recently installed the app due to issues with IP address from europe hitting the site and vpn's being used to buy gift cards with stolen card details. easy to setup, very prompt response from Louis in support, to enable me to configure the best approach to stop this.

We have only used this application for a short time, but the potential to identify and correct fraud is great. Also, the support was very helpful when asking questions about blocking and allowing sessions based on Country Location.

The setup process was easy. It tells you what to do, you follow a few easy steps and that's it. Then we requested a review of our setting via chat and the representative was kind and eager to help us out. We installed Blockify to stop abnormal traffic coming from abroad, and it worked perfectly. The interface is user-friendly, blocking rules are easy to set (by country, suspicious behavior, etc.), and the blocking message looks clean on the homepage. Their support team is fast and professional. They clearly explained that the app blocks access at the homepage level, even though Shopify Analytics might still count the sessions. Overall, it’s a solid tool to filter bots, VPN users, and irrelevant visitors. Highly recommended!

I got this app specifically for our increasing bot traffic. The reviews looked amazing so I installed it. On the 5th day I still got bot traffic and started cross-referencing bot orders vs activity log on this app and they didn't even show up. What happened next completely stunned me. Their support team actually ADMITTED IT DIDN'T WORK!!! Here's the message from them: "Hi there, This is Joyce from the Blockify support team.. Thanks again for your patience while we looked into the orders you mentioned. After checking with our technical team, we found that the app still receives and processes most visitor data as usual. However, in rare cases, it’s possible that: The buyer went directly to the checkout page, bypassing the storefront, which prevents our app from capturing the initial IP and browsing session. The buyer was using tools (like VPNs, proxies, or privacy-focused browsers) that changed their IP address during the journey — for example, from landing on the store to completing the checkout. This can result in the session being incomplete or invisible in the Visitor Analytics. We totally understand how frustrating this may be, especially when you’re relying on this data to block unwanted orders. Our product team is now aware of the concern and is reviewing how we can make the tracking more transparent.
