We've been with Attentive for a few years now with multiple brands in our company. We are using them for email and SMS and the dashboard is very user-friendly unlike some other companies we used like Klaviyo and Yotpo. We are currently working with Erika our Senior Customer Success Manager who has been very helpful in getting us ready for BFCM. She's provided all the resources (links) and tools needed to excel this quarter. She's also super responsive! It's great having some guidance if needed with growing our brands because we've worked with many companies before that don't provide the additional expertise. Out of all the email marketing companies we've worked with, this one by far is the best!

I’ve been using Attentive for over 2 years now and couldn’t be happier. The platform is incredibly user-friendly and their segmentation abilities make it easy to reach the right audience with the right message. What truly sets them apart is their AMAZING customer service. The team (my rep in particular) is always attentive (pun intended!) and goes above and beyond to help problem-solve, answer questions, and even suggest new strategies to improve my email and SMS program. Highly recommend!

I would avoid Attentive unless you have never used Klaviyo for email. The sales rep way overpromised and underdelivered. She insisted they never want to have an unhappy customer, and even though we have a contract, they would work with us on an exit if we were unsuccessful. Their SMS services are great. But the email side of things is subpar from Klaviyo. Not to mention, we lost around 10% of our subscribers in a mere 3 months. I have no idea how. Anyway, to boot, you have zero control over your subscription; they try to handcuff you so you won't leave. There is no subscription area on their platform, no invoice history, nothing!! If you want something, you reach out to support and wait. There is a reason Klaviyo is easy to cancel, because they know people will come back when they experience other providers. Especially this one.

Run…don’t walk away from this company. I asked if I could get out of my contract and they said no. I knew it was a long shot but I figured I would ask. Then a few weeks later I got a bill for $11k which was the remaining of my contract. I emailed and said I didn’t cancel my account and they said there was nothing they could do and the bill was due. They ignored my emails and phone calls and sent the bill to collections. I’ve ran my store for over 20 years and have a 100,000 order trophy from Shopify and this is hands down the WORST company I’ve ever worked with. If you are a new store stay away. Don’t believe the promises. Find literally anyone else to text your customers through. Do not use attentive! I’ve also never left a bad review in my life but attentive truly earned this one.

Do not trust Attentive. They tie inexperienced entrepreneurs into long contracts, then fail to deliver on their promises. If you get behind on a bill, they will ruin your credit score. There is no reason to use Attentive when Post Script is better, cheaper, and doesn't have shady business practices.

coming from a store owner, this is the WORST company to work with. Stay far, far away. Lock you in contracts, tech is TERRIBLE, wasted so much time, energy and resources with this company.

I've used Attentive SMS and MMS messaging the last four years and love the platform and customer service. Whenever I run into an issue, I'm able to communicate with my CSM or White Glove Service, making it a seamless process that's not frustrating. Attentive is constantly making new updates to the platform, making it a great experience for customers to receive updates and offers in a timely manner. I like being able to update journeys and with the press of a button, turn on a journey that I can tailor with specific copy and brand voice. Overall, I love how user-friendly the interface is and how it has strong integration capabilities with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, making it a go-to with any company I work at. I definitely recommend!

BEWARE: My repeated requests for cancellation have gone either challenged or ignored for almost a year. Now, after my third request, I “haven’t given proper notice”. The thoughtless response is very frustrating. It appears that either no effort was put forth to look into my repeated requests to cancel my account OR their practices are predatory and shady. Either way, it’s unacceptable and I highly encourage you to choose Klaviyo, PostScripts or any other company that doesn’t require a contract or a meeting for every simple request.
