Super happy so far! Drew and Morgan have been awesome to work with, quick responses and very informative. We launched ShipInsure on our website today and immediately had customers opting in to the shipping protection. We are excited to see how it goes and are hopeful that ShipInsure will take away the need of having to deal with unhappy customers and claims with our carriers.

ShipInsure was very easily integrated into our Shopify platform. There is also excellent support from their team. I especially appreciate that they are open to continuous improvement of their app and take suggestions from the user for a more efficient experience.

This company charges a fee for insurance but when the customer filed a claim, this company refunded the customer and did not cover the cost. The money was taken from my business. I have tried emailing them multiple times but no one has responded to me. I chose this company because I thought my business would be covered it anything went wrong with shipping.

Update: We experienced a strange issue after uninstalling this app from our Shopify store, a bot exploited leftover app content (even though the app was removed) to run test transactions using stolen credit cards. A few $1 purchases went through for ShipInsure, resulting in chargebacks and fees for us. However, I want to emphasize this: the developers responded immediately, took full responsibility, and explained that this was a rare anomaly. They’ve since fixed the underlying issue, ensured our store was fully disconnected, and even reimbursed us for the chargeback fees. Their support was honest, attentive, and personal – even after we had removed the app. Now that the problem is resolved, I’m back to recommending this app. It’s a solid solution for merchants who want to add insurance options to their shipments, especially for higher-value items and orders. It also gives peace of mind to customers while offering a potential extra revenue stream for the store. Great app, and great people behind it. Thank you for your great service!
