I paid for Premium plan, but this app does not have a working GEO targeting solution. I want to show cookie banner only for EU countries, and selected that in settings, but afterwards on main dashboard in "Consents tracking" when I looked at stats - top country was United States. I asked support about it - even gave access to my store, they blamed Shopify native targeting and said that are working on fixing this.

The app is very expensive, so you would expect at least some flexibility when it comes to adapting the design to your shop. Unfortunately, this is not the case. When we contacted support about uploading a custom image, the response was very dismissive: “For the moment, we do not support it. So you won't be able to upload an image by default.” For a premium-priced app, this lack of basic customization is disappointing. As a result, we now have to look for an alternative solution.

I needed to add a compliance tool to ensure I didn't have issues. I made the choise to go with Pandectes for two reasons: first, it offered all the certification options I needed; second, the pricing was reasonable for my small shop. I installed it on my Shopify store. The set-up was straightforward. When I went to do a compliance check, I was helped by Ermis, who was very responsive and helpful. Great experience.
