Funktioniert sehr gut, manchmal geht die sinnhaftigkeit der Texte etwas verloren und man muss nachbessern, ein bisschen mehr Ki würde dem ganzen ganz gut tun. Ansonsten tiptop.

Translating Shopify into German was quite tedious, as I had to manually translate 150 checkout pages, each containing 20-30 lines. It took about 3-4 minutes per page to ensure everything was correct. In the end, everything is now clean and well-structured. Replacing images also works perfectly. However, I read a comment from three weeks ago where someone mentioned that their settings were completely erased. To be safe, I exported my translations and hope the same doesn’t happen to me.

This is a gamechanger for internationalisation. Only the metaobjects could have been included from the start, one has to manually "auto-translate" each object. Or is there another method?

Yes I would recommend it. In the beginning it took some searching to find out what you do or don't offer, but later you will see and appreciate that you can also translate yourself.
