One of the worst translation apps I've used. They take no responsibility and always blame someone else for any issue. I paid over €300 for translations, and I still had to manually fix missing parts myself. I honestly cannot recommend this app. Unfortunately, I'm now stuck with them because everything has already been translated through their system, and leaving would mean losing my entire investment. Please be extremely careful when choosing your translation app. You're often better off translating manually using ChatGPT – it’s far more cost-effective, and you have full control over the results.

This is the biggest scam I've had to bear since I started using shopify which was more than 3 years ago. Transcy misled me into buying the annual plan when I tried to pay for my monthly plan but it suddenly switched into annual but since I had already pressed on pay it loaded the annual plan and paid for it which is 10X what I wanted to pay for this crappy software. Then I let them know about the mistake I had made 3 seconds later and they told me that they will not assist me at all. Then I threatened to stop the transaction through my bank account but they said that's not necessary because they will give me crdits for which I explicitly asked whether they would be usable for the shopify monthly plan payment and they confrimed that after which I trusted them. Told me to uninstall the app and I would receive the credits and 3 months later I am still paying for the shopify monthly plan and I've received 0 credits from these scammers. I can't believe shopify allows such things to even happen on their store and then say that they bare no responsibility for what happens on the shopify app store... Ridiculous stuff is happening and I still can't believe it although I've been a victim of all of it. Watch out guys.

disaster for 11 euro per month I can add only one language the default language is also counted and the other plans with more features the price is insane 30 euros per month .... for the new shop this is insane . unsubscribed !!!

This app is a complete scam! I've been on a monthly plan for a long time, but the app constantly misleads users into upgrading to an annual plan, then charges the full annual fee at once. I requested a refund and a downgrade back to the monthly plan, but they refused! They even demanded that I uninstall the app before they would partially refund me—completely unreasonable! If I could give zero stars, I would. The product is unreliable, the interface keeps getting worse, and translation tasks take days to complete. Sometimes, it even overwrites my translations without my knowledge!

Deleting the app, support is SO incompetent! It takes a lot of time just to understand what i need from them. BE AWARE! For those with multiple markets, this app only changes the display currency instead of the market page. If you have different prices for different markets it will not going to work. On the top of this, the support is so incompetent they don't even understand the root cause of the issue. I ask one thing, give them example, screenshots and end up answer for completely different issue. Waste of time

アプリはリーズナブルで多言語でまあまあの内容ですが、部分的に翻訳されていない部分が非常に多く全体が自動で翻訳されるわけではないので残念。Partly translatedやTranslation outdatedなどのセクションが多く、結局絞り込み機能を使い手動で翻訳をしないといけないでので時間が膨大にかかる。サポートですが、Chatではやり取りの途中で評価リクエストが届きこれをしないと先に進めないような対応をされ憤慨した。問題解決の途中で評価はできませんけど。Emailでサポートに連絡してもオートメールが来ただけでいまだに対応がない。このアプリのサポートの評価は、星1つです。以上

seriously, the app is really hard to use, I want the currency show only two decimals but I cannot, only can edit one by one manually which takes forever, I asked customer service they said they cannot help either. Now the default USD currency suddenly showing 3 decimals and I cannot edit either.The translation is also very bad

Bugs, bugs, bugs 2-3 bugs per week, they have very fast customer service actually but i need to keep an eye on this app every day so that it doesnt destroy our company, there was a bug where it was duplicating the price digits from 98 to 9998 and made zero sales on that day trying to figure out what was going on... turns out that Transcy had ANOTHER one bug...

Mala experiencia, uno solo quiere traducir su tienda automaticamente y solo encuentra fallos y trabas. Luego el soporte se explica fatal y tardan media hora para resolverte una duda o problema. Una aplicación de este tipo es para traducir tiendas, no para que nos de dolores de cabeza.

Hands down one of the most difficult apps to use on shopify. the customer support takes 5-10 mins to respond to any question. and most of them have no clue how transcy works. I am exhausted after talking with 3 customer support reps who had no idea the basics of this app... Go elsewhere guys. don't be fooled by the fake reviews. I am gonna try to get a refund and deleting this app asap. sheesh... There are MUCH better apps for this job that are muchhh easier to use.. Hands down the hardest app on shopify... no contest.

I have been an user of this app for quite a few months now. I think they have the worst customer support I have ever seen in my life. Robotic answers, no empathy and after using their app and activating a 129$ option that I DID NOT USE AT ALL for 3 months, they did not even want to help with a partial refund. I will NEVER recommend using this app and I truly encourage you to go and try other options that have better support. My review is purely based on the support and how they did not want to help AT ALL. imagine spending 400$ on a software that you did not use AT ALL and then, after confirming that the basic option will still be active and you will continue to pay them monthly, they are not willing to help with a credit at least. Anyway, hope this helps you guys!

From customer service to the pricing everything was beyond terrible. I'm being charged for +70 usd although my plan is supposed to charge much less. I've uninstalled it, and it still charges me. I don't know how to stop this and there is no help.

3 Monate SEO-Arbeit für uns ruiniert. Achtung: diese App setzt canonical Tags und dadurch wurden wir bei Google abgestraft. Richtig mies. Die App ist ansonsten auch etwas kompliziert aufgebaut. Sind leider nicht zufrieden.

Disappointing Experience with Transcy AI : I had a really frustrating experience with Transcy AI. The app was difficult to use and plagued with multiple bugs. I initially chose a plan to test it out, but due to all the issues, I ended up uninstalling it. After a month, I decided to give it another try and pick the plan that suited my needs, only to be told that I couldn’t have a free trial anymore. Even though I couldn't use it properly the first time because of the bugs, they insisted I pay upfront. They have all the data of my previous use, yet they expect you to pay for something you never really got to test. On top of that, their customer service takes a long time to respond. Honestly, for an app with such a reputation, this is far from professional. I cannot recommend Transcy AI due to their lack of flexibility, especially when it was their fault in the first place.

Use caution when using this app. Actually, no one should be using this app as it is SEO killer. The app does not comply with Google's SEO guidelines, which leads to google not indexing translated pages due to 302 Redirect. The team know the issue but apparently their response to the issue is that their app "focuses on the storefront". This is Bull*. If you want your store to be discoverable from Google, DO NOT USE THIS APP. Now this is for the redirection. When it comes to translations: 1. It is just an expensive version of the basic Shopify App using Google Translate. To use the AI version you need to pay even more. 2. It has a better user experience that the basic Shopify App, but still not in Sync with the already translated content. Content translated outside the App is considered Untranslated. Doesn't make sense. Only + from my experience using the App is their Support team. They are always very responsive and helpful despite the quality of their app. ----------------------------------------------- Edit of review on the 16th of September 2024 - In response to Transcy response. ----------------------------------------------- You mentioned that you tried to provide solution to resolve that. "However, we still have tried to provide the relevant solution to resolve that, meanwhile we seriously noted this feedback to improve our app" That's not true. What you asked me to do is to turn on the recommendation. When I asked you if that will work, your answer was that "It might mitigate the issue". You did not provide a clear and confident answer/solution. Even though you knew that it won't work (i suspect, considering all the other negative reviews), you still recommended me a not functional solution to my problem. That's worst than be straight from the beginning and then saying "We are not responsible for SEO, just the storefront". Regarding content untranslated outside the app, you can just create a status "Translated by Third Party" instead of "Untranslated". By having the status of Translated content as "Untranslated" you prompt user to translate already translated content and pay even more. That's questionable practice.
