Extremely frustrating. I signed up for Microsoft Ads using the 'Sign up with Google' link, but the Shopify app DOES NOT allow you to 'Sign in with Google' - it simply says the account doesn't exist. WARNING TO READERS: DO NOT sign up for Microsoft Ads using your Google account! You'll end up in an endless conversion with support reps who don't understand the issue and don't even have the permissions to fix it.

After creating a new Microsoft Advertising account and completing the identity verification process, our account was automatically suspended without any clear explanation. Despite multiple attempts to contact support, we have not received a reasonable or detailed response clarifying the reason for this action. Our appeal was promptly rejected without further discussion or evidence provided. This experience is particularly frustrating given that we have been long-time users of Bing Webmaster Tools for over ten years and are active advertisers with Google, managing over €50,000 in monthly ad spend without any issues. We are deeply disappointed by the lack of transparency, communication, and customer care shown in this matter. While we respect Microsoft’s right to enforce its policies, we believe legitimate businesses should be given at least a fair opportunity to clarify or correct potential misunderstandings.

As bad as you would expect Microsoft to be. Its a pain to install, and is not even able to track revenue which you obviously need for your campaigns to optimize properly. support ist hell, super slow and not able to help. just avoid this all together.

Never works! Throws an error, gives no option to change the account you want to use. over complicated integration.

I did have a few hiccups getting started and connected to Microsoft but support was always exceptional. Now things are connected and rolling well. Not as much traffic as google obviously, but it's there and you have less competition in a way so you can rank higher and still see great results.

Just wasted my time. I spent 56 minutes with an Microsoft "expert" for nothing. He wasn't able to make it work.

Leider nicht sehr stabil die App. Habe mich mal mit einem falschen MS Account eingeloggt, seit dem kommt nur ein Screen der mich drauf hinweist dass mein Account nicht aktiv ist und versperrt jede Einstellungsmöglichkeiten. Support hat nicht wirklich eine Ahnung für was die supporten - scheint ein allgemeiner MS Support zu sein - und neuinstallation hilft wohl auch nicht. Schade

Similar to Google UI, but easier. It took me a couple of hours to get my first campaign up and running.

Easy to setup, I'm excited to see if adding my stores products generates any organic traffic, time will tell.

Legitimate And the Only App you will need for Microsoft Marketplace. There are many, but this is the authentic link to your microsoft marketplace and merchant center. It's seamless and easy and there is help in Microsoft Merchant center that's impossible to find anywhere else. They are patient and very rational and I have had instant chat resolution of so many issues. I still have a bit to go in terms of approvals but for 90% of the way, Im approved. Its not a complex maze and connects and you can edit on shopify as you would directly in microsoft. Microsoft also has it's own product studio and something that i'm looking into.

Awful, trying to connect to Microsoft is a nightmare. I'm not going to bother after trying 5 times. You can keep this app

I love the Microsoft Channel, they are the best! I give them 10 stars if I could! Keep up the awesome work! Amen to actual humans taking care of products being published. Unlike other Channels that take you out for something you have no idea that you could have done. At least these guys have a clear head and take the time for others. I pray you guys never leave! I was hoping to run ads on Microsoft. In fact, I was excited to reach millions of potential customers. It's been almost two weeks. I've spoken with numerous Microsoft support staff and my account is still locks and the account is still being verified. I've submitted all the required documents, multiple times. I've asked for the documents to be reviewed by support to ensure that they are in good order. Microsoft support, while very professional and polite, can only recite policy back to me. It's interesting. I can copy the policy into a txt doc. upload it into the Microsoft web browser and have it read the policy for me. I'm confused as to what Microsoft support's job is. Rather than create a framework that supports my business, Microsoft has created an obstacle course. Don't count on it. When setting up an ad account with Microsoft plan for a 3 to 5 day account verification process. In addition, you might get your account banned on the day you set up your account, for apparently no reason. In order to get unblocked, you must wait an additional 7 to 10 days. It appears that most people have a smoother onboarding. Just be aware that things can go sideways. when setting up an account you get a marketing strategist that helps you out. In my case I need an account manager to unblock me.

When I click connect on this section "Connect a Microsoft Advertising Account" it is not going through, it just buffers and doesnt do anything

I need to update this review. The App cannot even open in my Shop channel, I cannot get ANYONE to answer any questions, and it does not look like this app even works at all.

It says theres an issue, when i try to click on the link to solve it and every time it says it bugs to a blank page

This app is beyond garbage. I prefer Google, but figured I would give Microsoft a try and this app does not integrate well with Shopify whatsoever. Literally every button that was clicked would cause the app to crash. I tried to run an ad campaign and input my card and it crashed 5x in a row, which led to my account being locked. I tried to unlock my account by submitting my ID and the upload crashed several times in a row. Then they suspended my account and said we were being "suspicious." Yeah, not thanks. I will keep my advertising on Google and Facebook.
