Great customer service however the pages can be heavy on your site and the formatting is complex and repetitive.

Good beginner app - very slow & lots of issues overall. It is extremely simple to use and has a ton of great features but the biggest downside is all the bugs in the app. Pages are constantly breaking (not showing correctly), taking a long time to load & when building pages, it often glitches if you work on it for more than an hour. You get what you pay for in the price. If you have a simple easy store, go for it, but know you will need to upgrade in the future (which sucks after the work you put into this)

Unfortunately Gem Pages is plenty of bugs, especially when it comes to theme sections. The mobile version preview doesn't work correctly. SO many adjustments need to be made here

I am on the paid version, so far it is user-friendly and there's always support after hours ( I think their support is based in the Philippines) The best time to reach them for support is nighttime in the USA. My biggest issue is when they are supposed to be saved, there were a few times it didn't and I had to back track and waste more time. I'm not sure when this happens but I've had to hit Save every time I made a small change while working on the page to avoid it from happening again. I would love to love this app. Will change this if support can reach out and give me an explanation.

Recently, after I logged into GEMPages on Shopify, I was asked to participate in a survey that posed two significant questions . The first question was, "How would you react if you could no longer use Gempages?" immediately followed by, "Do you believe Gempages could be easily replaced?" These questions have me concerned — is Gempages at risk of shutting down? My experience with Adobe Muse, where my initial website was built, serves as a stark reminder. The abrupt closure of Adobe Muse resulted in the loss of thousands of hours of work and tens of thousands of dollars. Now, as I embark on developing my third-generation website using Gempages, I'm alarmed at the prospect of history repeating itself. Given my current workload of 90 hours a week, I simply cannot afford another financial or emotional investment in yet another platform. Therefore, I need reassurance regarding the stability and longevity of Gempages before committing further. I can't inquire within your company whether they plan to close down, because typically everyone there will insist everything is fine until the day they actually shut their doors for good. The questions I was asked in that survey weren't random; they were very direct, specifically about the potential loss of access to Gempages and what my contingency plans would be if access were lost. Right now, I'm postponing building my site on Gempages until I get some kind of stability report or visual reassurance that Gempages will be around for the long term. I'll change my star rating / review once I receive a response from someone of authority - not a CSR or manager.
