The app works very well and we can recommend it. Change requests are sometimes implemented for a small surcharge if this is possible. The support team around Barney and Stark etc. is quick and easy to reach, always friendly and solution-oriented. The only drawback is that the store credit is not converted into actual store credit, but into a discount code. If this could be improved, we would be 100% happy.

I would recommend affiliate marketing mostly if it does not cause you to be blocked on the pinterest platform . I love pinteret best of all "social media platforms" I have discovered so far .I still Love pinterest wishing them great continued success . Brilliant!!

MISLEADING APP DESCRIPTION After being assured that UpPromote included a referral feature I installed the app and started setting it up. After 25 years as an online marketing consultant to companies in 40+ countries, I understand the clear distinction between an AFFILIATE and a REFERRAL APP: A referral app provides once-off rewards to existing customers for introducing new customers - if the new customer places an order then a reward or commission is granted to both parties ON THE FIRST ORDER ONLY. An affiliate app may provide a once-off reward new customers introduced by the affiliate, but the affiliate continues to earn rewards (normally a commission) on all that new customer's purchases for a fixed period or indefinitely. Because Referral Rewards are only paid out once, they can be very large 9even loss-making) as they only happen once and are regarded as the cost of acquiring the new customer. Having signed up for a $29/mo paid UpPromote plan I discovered that the "Referral" program they were providing only allowed rewards that repeated on all future purchase by the new client. This is DISHONEST MARKETING - that is not a referral program but rather an affiliate program. I queried this and they demanded I triple my monthly payment to $89 to enable a referral program with once-off rewards. Then the company claimed that as their customers often incorrectly referred to an affiliate program as a referral program, they felt justified in also incorrectly labeling their $29 plan as a referral program. I have over the years used dozens of both affiliate and referral apps and was delighted to find a combined app, but BEWARE - this company is being dishonest (and IMHO perhaps fraudulent in their marketing claims. I lost faith in this company and no longer trust them or want to do business with them and am now uninstalling UpPromote from my Shopify store. Now the company is asking for a meeting - I wasted so many hours setting the app up and testing it to find it did not do what they promised that am not inclined to waste more time teaching them what it should do.

Was not expecting to be able to get ahold of them at 7pm on a Saturday.. Says alot about a company. Very impressed! They were able to help me out on a paypal integration issue that I wanted to get out of the way and were actually available right away when I needed them. Two thumbs up for Tommy!

The support from this app is top notch. There is an in app chat option and the support is always quick to answer. Just today Selina helped me customize my affiliate log in page to include and not include what it didnt need. I was amazed that she was willing and able to customize my experience in that way! So far, i have nothing but great things to say about Uppromote.

A great app for all your referral program needs. It has all the options for your startup to start a referral program and increase sales. The customer support is very responsive. I needed to remove the app branding and Selina promptly replied and removed it in no time. I recommend this app to all.

They are very responsive when you need help. Great with helping you build customers. Evan was a great help to me very patient, and took his time walking me through the system to better understand it.

Solid app, highlighted by genuinely exceptional service. Shout out to Nick, Barney, Evans and Selina. Nearly around-the-clock service available - help with implementation, tech support, customization, etc. Super friendly and they all seem to know what's going on. If you're on the fence in choosing an app, I'd say the responsive service from this team could probably tip the balance, they'll make sure you get what you need.

I'm really happy with this app and their support team. Most of everything worked right out of the box, and for the things that were a little more complicated, Selina was able to help me understand what was going wrong and to fix it. Everything feels really solid so far and I'm looking forward to seeing how our affiliate program affects our sales over the next couple of months.

Barney was very helpful! Great CS. The Youtube video tutorial links are outdated b/c they showcase the "old interface" of managing settings from the website merchaant acct, instead of managing all the settings within the shopify app. It was very confusing for me and wasted a lot of my time. please take them down, not helpful.
