Snowball makes tiered affiliate marketing easy for our small, scrappy team—and their team's customer service is top notch whenever we have a question or run into a glitch

We’ve had a really solid experience using Social Snowball for Quinton. The platform makes it genuinely easy to turn happy customers (and ambassadors) into affiliates without adding friction to the purchase journey, and the automations save our team a ton of time. What we’ve loved most is how clean the setup is, how well it tracks referrals, and how straightforward it is for creators/customers to share their links and see results. The UI is simple, the reporting is clear, and it integrates smoothly into our Shopify workflow. If you’re looking for a proper affiliate/referral engine that feels modern (and not clunky), Social Snowball is a great choice. Highly recommended.

A lot of sales will get tagged as an "affiliate referral" when it is not. I have facebook utms on a ton of orders that also got tagged for being from an affiliate.

Customer service was fantastic. I am so impressed. We had a very urgent issue before launching a major campaign & their team solved it flawlessly.

Honestly it was a good app until we got flooded with scammers abusing the system. We have been threatened multiple times that they will create fake trustpilot reviews and use bots to spam our socials. I reached out to social snowball on assistance and some guidance on how to deal with the scammers, unfortunately they weren't of any help. Very disappointed.

Social Snowball has been incredibly helpful in getting our affiliate program up and running, and we’ve been very happy with the platform and results so far! Katie and her team have been amazing — friendly, professional, and so supportive throughout the entire process. The customer service is quite poor - borderline making the platform unusable, as it does have a few issues. They dont man the chat or respond to the support@ email address. Even once you are a paying customer and they send you an invite to schedule a meeting with a CSM via Hubspot, no meeting actually gets booked. So you are just wasting your time contacting them. I had high hopes for the platform, so i am hoping they will fix this up, but so far it is about as bad as it can be for a SaaS provider.

Terrible Experience – Stay Away from Snowball This app is nothing short of a scam. We were charged nearly INR 68,000 over four months for a service we never used — only two test orders. Out of this, they refunded just INR 17,000, conveniently ignoring the rest. When we reached out, their team flatly refused to take responsibility or issue a fair refund. It is unacceptable to be forced to pay for a service that was never actually utilised. Snowball not only wasted our money but also our time with their dismissive support. Merchants should beware — this app is predatory and unfair.

I don’t know where I would be without Tara! She saved my affiliate program which kinda saved my life. For weeks I was struggling to figure out what was wrong with the Payout feature and just couldn’t get it to work. Then Tara stepped in and set everything up properly so that all of the features work and she explained it all in the most thorough way possible. I really appreciate it!! Now my program is running smoothly and I’m ready to take it to the next level. Thanks so much Tara!! I'm not sure what Social Snowball is paying you, but you deserve a raise!

There is a payment wall to check the product. I checked it didn't like it. Got a refund so that's all set. Does it do the job, probably but still thinking it's way overpriced for what you get.

There is a payment wall to check the product. I checked it, went on a call and we don’t like it because it was nothing different then we already using but charging 200$. I went on a call with Jared and we discussed that I will cancel it and I get a refund through Shopify, because we installed it there. As it’s already discussed and agreed I expect nothing else than a refund. But now they are holding back. High change that this money is gone for ever! Highly recommend other apps as uppromote or different once. Waist of money and apparently if you agreed on something they don't keep there word... DON'T DON'T DON'T

So far, so great! Awesome support during onboarding and setup. I'll write another review once we've lived with it a bit. I expect it to be fabulous.

Works well, does what its supposed to, but the funding options in Canada will cost you bank fees each time, and small startups will take a long time to have this pay for itself unless you are already generating significant sales per day or have a team dedicated to influencer hounding and/or are already gaining traction with content creators. I wouldn't suggest using this for new stores with modest budgets. Smaller pricing tier needed.

We ran into some technical issues and our account manager Mals looped in Ani from their dev team who jumped on a call in the evening and helped resolve all of the issues plus more, and we did a follow up call the next day to ensure all was set up and running smoothly again.
