Definitely a good app to have to increase AOV. 24/7 customer support is a big W as well. Only downside is you can only have the Insured Shipping on the cart page. You need to have a Shopify Plus plan to be able to add it to the checkout page - meaning many customers will not see it as they go straight to checkout.

So far, easy set up. Although I would like to be able to edit "Refund Policy" as we don't offer a refund. After free trial will know more if we want to keep.

Too bad this APP does not work with other discount APPs on Shopify stores. It over rides the discounts. That unfortunately is a SHOPIFY issue in the design. Maybe Captain Shipping can get this figured out with SHOPIFY. I would gladly use the service.

I'm loving this app so far. It's super simple, so I'm sure you could implement something similar yourself by editing your theme, but I don't know how to do that! Support has been incredibly fast, and this upsell widget already beats the "real" insurance provider I used in the past. Now I just offer the upsell and use that money to replace lost packages. It's so much better than having to file a claim that often doesn't pay out.

Very easy to set-up, began collecting premiums immediately. I was previously using a 3rd' party funded shipping coverage provider and didn't like that they kept all the premiums and only gave me 20% of what was left over, but they didn't actually cover any of the risk - they just subtracted claims from what was collected from premiums, and if claims were more than premiums they held that difference against you for the next week. Captain Shipping Protection allows you to run your own coverage. You set your own rate, collect the premiums and keep anything that isn't paid out in claims. This is exactly what I was looking for, and I'm very satisfied with the service and am happy to pay the monthly fee as it's already paid for itself 7x over in the first week since downloading. Highly recommend this app for all shopify stores.

A bit expensive for a small app, but it's the one I could find for this. Simple and elegant. I would like it if the staff could help with small customisations that are not available in the app. Anything I asked about, they just said they can't do it.
