After investing over two months and significant effort in implementing Inventory Planner by Sage, I strongly advise against this product and the company behind it. Despite paying more than $2,000 for professional implementation services, we were largely abandoned to navigate the process independently. Support responses were excruciatingly slow—often taking a month or more, particularly after we requested contract termination—and entirely absent during holidays or other periods, sometimes for weeks at a time. When we sought release from the contract due to zero progress and a non-functional system after two months, our request was flatly denied. Sage prioritizes enforcing their year-long agreements over accommodating dissatisfied customers, even when they fail to deliver. Business leaders should scrutinize the terms and conditions meticulously: Sage's contract is designed with extensive experience in such disputes, offering no meaningful recourse beyond binding arbitration in their home state. Once committed, you forfeit all leverage if performance falls short. Furthermore, any issues with third-party integrations fall solely on you to resolve with those providers; Sage offers no guidance or assistance, merely expecting notification upon resolution. Ultimately, Sage invests far more in contractual entrapment than in fulfilling the services for which they are compensated—a critical red flag for any enterprise seeking reliable inventory management solutions.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS. This company has outrageous terms and conditions and will try to trap you when their product doesn't work the way they promise it does. Don't believe me read the other bad reviews. The software is great if it works, but sometimes it doesn't integrate with your other systems and Brightpearl or Sage or whoever this company is just throws you to the wolves and takes your money They will try to blame any third party that is part of your integration they can to get out of refunding you if the product does not perform as expected. I wish I had known what a hassle it would be to deal with this company. 2 months in and still nothing works and they want to fight me every step of the way to just cancel the implementation since the software is not working with quickbooks desktop. They basically expect you to convince intuit to make their plugin work. There is another app called Prediko on the App Store that I had before signing up for Inventory Planner. I thought inventory planner would offer more features but it is basically the same thing just way more expensive and way more time consuming to implement. I wish I would have just stuck with Prediko instead of switching to Inventory Planner.

We've been using Inventory Planner for over a year now, and it’s become an essential part of how we manage our purchasing and inventory across multiple sales channels. The platform gives us clear visibility into what to reorder, when to reorder, and how much to buy; all based on accurate forecasting and real-time sales data. Highly recommend Inventory Planner to any growing e-commerce business that wants to take control of stock and purchasing decisions.

Terrible, terrible experience. Something broke with the connection at the end of September 2025 and it has basically rendered IP useless to us. The data is not syncing and we are not able to use it even though we JUST paid for an entire year ($4k). Customer service is slow to respond and we're now demanding a full refund after 21+ days of "attempting to resolve this with our engineers." Even their parent company, Sage, knows nothing about them. Tried calling Sage and cx was clueless as to who IP was. If you choose to use them, I recommend proceeding with high caution and low expectations.

I had a very bad experience with their customer service. I needed help reinstalling the app and was ready to pay for the monthly subscription, but I was told that my company was too small for their service. They explained that they had changed their “business model” and are now focusing only on much larger companies. I was advised to contact them again once I reach more than 1 million dollars in annual revenue, and only then they would be happy to help. It was really disappointing to have the door shut in my face like that. They should clearly state these conditions on the App Store so smaller businesses don’t waste their time.

The support team is incredibly helpful. We have worked with them on several occasions and they are always quick to respond and address any issues we are facing. Highly recommend!

Stuck Paying for a Product We Can’t Use We’ve been with Inventory Planner since before Sage acquired them—back when the platform was lean, reliable, and backed by great customer support. After the acquisition, our subscription cost was increased threefold. In early 2025, after renewing our annual subscription, we transitioned to a 3PL that Inventory Planner had no integration with. Despite reaching out promptly to explain the situation and explore solutions, support offered nothing viable. As a result, we could no longer use the software. We requested a refund for the remainder of the contract, but they refused. We’re now stuck having paid for eight months of a product we can’t use. Support acknowledged the issue but hid behind policy instead of making any good-faith effort to help. If your business values fairness, transparency, and customer service, we strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

We just started using Inventory Planner and are learning the ins and outs of the product. The support team is amazing and are very clear in answering any questions or concerns that we have. Jansen, Hector, Ade and Lavender have been extremely helpful and are very knowledgable about the software program.
