We used this app for a bit, and it does work. We disabled it because we have a Square POS system at our cafe and customers were getting confused about where they could redeem the online Shopify gift card and were trying to use it in the cafe. After we disabled the app we kept it because of concerns that our customers would not be able to fulfill their gift cards. We didn't realize that we were being charged .05 for every order on our site. The charges can be found on your Shopify invoice after you click through the apps to see specific charges. Unfortunately, we did not see this for almost a year. Be careful to check your charges. This "fee" was apparently in the fine print but we didn't see it.
