SMS verification is one method of two-factor authentication to prevent spammer or fraudster.

FraudLabs Pro SMS Verification verifies if the buyer is the right owner of the given phone number by using the SMS verification loop. To begin with, our system will send a SMS message containing the OTP (One-Time-Passcode) to the given mobile phone number. The buyer is required to enter the correct OTP for verification. It places a checkpoint at the view-cart page in order to filter out non-serious buyers, which can effectively authenticate the buyer's identity.

The service by JH Chew FraudLabsPro Customer Success Team is horrible I cant speak on the app because JH Chew didn't provide much help at all the way i was responded to it appears JH Chew didn't know what app I had installed assuming it was there Fraud app when it was the SMS verification app. The app might be good but the service from JH Chew at FraudLabsPro Customer Success Team isn't so ill never know if the app works or if its a good app due to the rocky relationship from JH Chew so good luck to anyone who gets the app hopefully they will have a better customer experience.
