Very poor app in my opinion, we installed this after all the sales talk that we win 95%+ of chargebacks, i think that is total nonsense, i had 3 chargebacks and only one was won, even that was down to me sorting out with customer... despite that they will then still take a fee claiming that they prepared the response already. in my opinion its a poor operation and not something anyone should really take seriously.

Chargeflow’s defenses make no sense. They’re extremely basic and usually just repeat the same line: “the customer didn’t follow our terms and policy.” They don’t analyze the case, they don’t check the details, and in my experience, they even got the disputed amount wrong. It’s obviously a copy-and-paste defense. Unless you sell cheap products in huge volumes and don’t care about the outcome of your disputes, stay away from this app. If you want a proper defense, you’re much better off doing it yourself. Just upload the customer’s conversation and order details into ChatGPT and have it generate a solid dispute response for you.

I installed this application on 11/23/2025, and within just 24 hours, I was shocked to find unauthorized charges totaling over $1000—$829.70, $34.70, and $100. I never used the app and hadn’t even linked my Stripe account properly. This is outright theft! I urge everyone to beware of this application. I am taking immediate action by contacting my bank to recover my money and reporting this fraudulent activity. Do not trust this app; it is a scam that takes advantage of users!

Review updates: Below, the app left a review saying that it won the case on request, which is blatant nonsense. I did not use their services. This case was not won here; the customer received the goods and withdrew the dispute himself, saying that he had received the goods. I have never seen such blatant nonsense. They will simply steal your money and lie brazenly. These are scammers, don't even think about installing their app. I installed the app, didn't use it for anything, and they immediately charged me $10, which Shopify tried to withdraw from my card. I wrote to support and asked them to give me a $10 credit so they would cancel the charge. I had to pay this amount along with other apps. These are scammers, don't even think about installing their app. I installed the app, didn't use it for anything, and they immediately charged me $10, which Shopify tried to withdraw from my card. I wrote to support and asked them to give me a $10 credit so they would cancel the charge. I had to pay this amount along with other apps. Horrendous service, lies and dishonesty.. They claim to be experts in challenging chargebacks, from my expereince they don't make any difference to taking charge of the chargeback yourself. Worse part is if you and the customer do come to an agreement to void the chargeback you will still lose out the 25% rate... They claim they have good software, yet when i asked them not to challenge paypal disputes on my behalf they claimed it would fine.. but when i won any myself they started billing me straight away!... saving the worst till last.. so if you wish to leave, they will ask you to pay 8% commission on all open disputes.. the way they spin it is you would pay 25% if you won so we are giving you a cheaper alternative.. Kindly stay away and manage disputes yourself, you will save a lot of time and money.

Horrible experience with this company. We had a win rate of around 30% and they do not even reach out to remind you to submit additional information that can be helpful, they just submit a prompt from chatGPT and call it a day. You're better off submitting more compelling evidence yourself, on top of that we were charged an 8% cancellation fee.

I was sold into Chargeflow Prevent, under the impression it would help with chargeback prevention, but it’s been a nightmare. The costs are completely intransparent—I was hit with charges for chargebacks, chargeback fees to both the bank AND to Chargeflow. When I reached out for clarity, I received no response. I tried cancelling the service, but instead of processing my cancellation, they re-enrolled me without explanation. Billing team doesn't respond at all. I'm still getting charged daily despite my attempts to cancel. This feels like a scam. Do not trust them—avoid at all costs!

We have lost every single one that was from them so for us they have a 0% win rate. Also the "prevent" does literally nothing. Just a blank page and orders or alerts are not shown at all. Ill be honest i am surprised we still even have this app but there are pending chargebacks so have to wait. You are honestly better just doing it yourself as you will have more wins and you know what will actually be submitted. Getting this type of information from them is impossible and they do not send you the decision letter or information on why.

Uninstall immediately even FREE Plan. Auto submit chargeback to Shopify without key evidence cause our cases lost. First time try chargeflow, first then we lost. Now buyer get our free product without return, and we lost both money and good + 15usd chargeback fee, we will do our own document for now

this app is a scam, they charge you 25% off the win and $15 on top of that even if you don't win the case, which will also ruin your credit. there are many better apps that only charge 15% and no upfront fee.

Absolutely terrible experience. I installed Chargeflow hoping for help with chargebacks, but quickly realized they add no evidence to disputes. I submitted my own info, and their app left cases completely blank, yet they still claimed they were “handling” the disputes. When I tried to uninstall and cancel, I followed their instructions exactly. Despite this, they charged my credit card $17.03 AFTER I requested termination, claiming an 8% fee for a dispute that was still “under review”—which they did zero work on. On top of that, no refund was issued for the $100 I paid when I first joined for alerts option. I was penalized for wanting to leave the service after only a short time of use, and they never disclosed these hidden fees upfront. Their email responses were dismissive, and even after I made it clear I didn’t need their help and would handle my own disputes, they charged me anyway. If you’re a Shopify store owner. It’s a scammy billing model designed to trap you and charge you even after cancellation. I’ve reported them to Shopify and will be disputing the charges with my bank. I unistalled the app after a few minutes and they still charge me.

The app itself works very well — smooth integration, solid features, no complaints there. But the customer service? Absolutely insane. They harass me daily, even though everything is properly linked with Shopify billing. It’s like they don’t even check before reaching out. And the attitude? Wow. The support team acts like they’re some kind of elite club — full of ego, poor communication, and zero humility. It’s like dealing with a bunch of self-important amateurs who think they’re doing you a favor. I’m giving 1 star for customer service, and honestly, that’s generous. You’ve taken an excellent app and almost ruined the whole experience with this clown-level support. Fix your team’s attitude before they destroy what could’ve been a top-tier product.

These are real scammers ! Do not trust them! I paid them for chargeback alerts for months. They didn't catch even a single chargeback and i canceled the service and requested a refund. I also confirmed with another provider that i was never enrolled into Ethoca or Verifi as they promised. Guess what, when i provided proof and requested refund they stopped answering. Do not trust this scammers! I'm dedicating 1 hour of my time every month to make people aware of this guys in order to stop them scamming people in the future!

SCAM ALERT! Edit: They also tried to take down my TrustPilot review but i provided all the evidence of their scams and TP returned it. Do NOT USE THIS SCAMMERS! This guys took $100 per month for a few months to provide me with "Chargeback alerts". For that time I received NOT even a single alert. In the meantime i continue to receive chargebacks. Eventually i stopped paying them and requested a refund or proof if they even enrolled me into the chargeback alert service. I received no such evidence. In fact, i started working with another chargeback alert service and since then my ratio dropped from 0.9% to 0%. The new service also confirmed that i was never enrolled into Ethoca or VISA RDR etc. Guess, what. Chargeflow NEVER refunded my money. Their support stopped replying to me long time ago. Be aware, these are real scammers. You will never get the service you pay for.

Lost a fairly straightforward chargeback with this company - a chargeback that should have easily been won! It was an order not received with all proof of receipt attached to the order. Certainly not worth money. I uninstalled and canceled the app as soon as I found out the news that the chargeback was lost.

Seriously, stay away from this app. Don't throw your money away. They don't provide any special service; all they do is gather your data and forward it to the bank, just like you would independently. Their claims of a superior win rate are unsubstantiated. Furthermore, they penalize you with an exorbitant 8% fee if you try to close your account. This app, coupled with its terrible customer service, is not worth your time or money.

I had already left a one-star review, but I deleted it because they refunded me and promised things would be resolved. Unfortunately, I’m back because nothing has changed. Chargeflow offered “no charge until December 31, 2024”, but they kept charging me even after I deleted the app in January. Now it’s April and I’m still getting charged €90–€100 every month, with no clear explanation. In 2025, I only won one chargeback, so I have no idea where these fees are coming from. Stay far away from this app – it’s misleading, overpriced, and dishonest. I will do everything I can to report them to Shopify and make sure no other merchants fall into the same trap.
