Updated Review – April 12, 2025 This is my third update to my review of the Shopify AutoDS app. I first posted on March 11, followed by a second update on March 31. I've been using AutoDS for over four years. It used to be a reliable automation platform, but the last couple of months have been the most difficult I’ve ever had with the service. It began in early February when I noticed some of my product listings on Shopify had lost their main images. At first, I assumed it was an isolated glitch. But as I kept browsing through my site, it became clear this was something much worse. Main product images and in some cases, all images were silently disappearing from live listings. There was no alert, no system log, no way to know when it happened. I only discovered it by accident, and it turned out to be affecting dozens of products. That kind of silent failure is incredibly damaging. It impacts SEO, kills ad performance, and destroys customer trust. And when you manage a large catalog, manually checking every listing becomes a nightmare. I reported everything in detail to support screenshots, recordings, and product IDs but was met with the same generic response over and over: “We’ve forwarded it to the developers.” No timeline. No fix. No real communication. Days turned into weeks. Eventually, I couldn’t afford to wait any longer. I spent entire workdays manually re-uploading images one listing at a time. After two exhausting days of work, support told me that since I had already started fixing them manually, the developers suggested I just continue and assured me the issue wouldn’t happen again. A few hours later, it happened again. More listings lost their images while I was still mid-way through manually fixing them. Two full days of work down the drain. It was clear nothing had been resolved. This issue has dragged on for over two months and has made it nearly impossible to run my business properly. I’ve had to manually audit my store over and over, constantly putting out fires instead of focusing on growth. AutoDS was supposed to simplify operations, but instead, it introduced ongoing disruptions I couldn't anticipate or control. Although timely, other issues like auto-orders getting stuck, being charged for credits that didn’t appear, and failed orders were eventually resolved, but they still added to the time and energy I had to spend just keeping things afloat. Support replies quickly, but most responses feel automated or surface-level. After months of unresolved issues, confidence in the platform has dropped significantly. I’ve provided clear documentation, consistent follow-ups, and every opportunity for the team to resolve the problem, but without transparency or accountability from the developers, it’s been incredibly difficult to keep my business running smoothly. I’ll continue updating this review weekly until the issue is fully resolved. At this point, it’s the only way I can ensure ongoing visibility and accountability for a problem that has caused lasting damage to my business.

Product Lists at Walmart $23 and they are charging me $47 on top of it %3 sales fee plus every-time You deposit %5 and the subscription fee of $200 there is no way you can make money with this app. You better off order directly from Walmart or Amazon

A year ago this app was good, now a days the app has a lot of problems, and nothing has been solved. can't update inventory and prices, can't edit items, images are disappearing, no update from source suppliers, the app is shows wrong inventory which considered very risky for drop shipping, the support just sent all these issues to their engineers and it has been 70 days and they are still done NOTHING.

This is an updated review from my previous one, and here I am almost a month later with even more problems. After over 4 years of using AutoDS, I’ve reached a point where the platform’s constant issues are causing my business significant losses. It’s become more trouble than it’s worth. The most frustrating and damaging issue is the ongoing problem with product images randomly disappearing from listings. There are no notifications when this happens—images are just gone, and if you don’t catch it quickly, it can completely ruin your product listings. This isn’t just an inconvenience; it’s a massive problem that causes: SEO hits: Missing images hurt product visibility and search engine rankings. Ad performance issues: Paid ads end up running for listings with broken images, wasting money and damaging ad scores. Customer trust issues: Listings without images look unprofessional and drive customers away. Lost sales and wasted time: Hours are spent manually identifying and fixing affected listings. When I reach out for support about this issue, I often get irrelevant questions as if the support team doesn’t recognize this as a recurring problem. It’s frustrating to explain the same issue repeatedly instead of getting a real solution. Just asking for help can take days, and getting an actual resolution often takes weeks. Unfortunately, this is far from the only issue. The auto-order system has been unreliable, leaving orders stuck in "in order progress" status for extended periods without explanation. This directly impacts my business and creates unnecessary headaches. Worse yet, if I don’t catch failed orders and manually report them, AutoDS won’t refund me—even though suppliers refund AutoDS directly. This forces me to constantly audit my account for errors. Billing issues are also a consistent problem. I’ve been charged for auto credits that never appeared in my balance and for orders that were never processed. Then, you must contact support and wait another week or two to get what you paid for. These charges only get refunded if I happen to notice and report them—otherwise, AutoDS keeps the money. It feels unfair and unprofessional. Customer support has been a major disappointment. While responses are quick, the actual solutions are painfully slow. It often feels like support agents are stalling or passing the buck rather than taking ownership of issues. It’s disheartening to deal with support that doesn’t seem to understand the urgency of problems that disrupt my business. The only positive has been Dorina from the support team. She’s truly a lifesaver—always understanding, proactive, and genuinely dedicated to helping. She’s been the only person who consistently gets things done and treats my business like it matters. I can’t thank her enough, but sadly, she can’t carry the entire support team on her own. It’s incredibly disappointing to see how much AutoDS has declined over the years. At this point, I can’t recommend this service to anyone serious about their dropshipping business. The platform’s instability, unreliable support, and constant disruptions have made it more harmful than helpful. I’m seriously reconsidering my continued use of AutoDS.

Auto DS has a nice selection of items to choose from, but unfortunately their ability to fulfill orders is less than satisfactory. I had my first large order through my website and AutoDS failed to fulfill this order after 17 days of going back and fourth with their support team. I will no longer use this service.

I’ve been using AutoDS for a while, and I have to say, the service has declined significantly compared to how it used to be. In the past, things ran smoothly for the most part, but now it feels like there’s a new issue every other day. This constant stream of problems has been incredibly frustrating and disruptive for my business. One of the most concerning issues is with billing. There have been instances where I was charged for auto credits that never appeared in my balance and for orders that weren’t processed. Even worse, if I don’t personally catch these mistakes and report them, AutoDS doesn’t issue refunds. Since suppliers refund them directly for failed orders, the fact that I don’t get automatically refunded unless I notice the issue is very troubling. This practice not only feels unfair but also creates a lot of additional work for me to manually audit transactions. I’ve also faced problems with inventory syncing being unreliable, causing listings to go out of stock or display incorrect information. On a few occasions, product images disappeared unexpectedly, which might seem minor, but it was enough to cause significant problems for my business. These technical issues make it difficult to trust the platform with my store's management. Customer support, while responsive in acknowledging issues, takes far too long to actually resolve them. While replies might come quickly, the solutions often take days or even weeks, leaving my business in limbo. For a service that charges premium fees, I expected a lot more in terms of efficiency and reliability. Overall, the combination of frequent technical problems, questionable billing practices, and slow issue resolution has left me seriously reconsidering whether AutoDS is worth the cost. I hope they can address these problems soon, but at this point, it’s hard to recommend the service to anyone who needs a reliable dropshipping solution.

I didn't even get past the trial period. You can't really build a full site when a shirt has 68 variations and each variation counts against your import number. I had 5 products posted when I got an error stating I've reached my 500 import limit.

Do not recommend the use of this app or platform. So far, they have taken more than $500 AUD and refused to fulfill my customer's order after multiple attempts to fix this; I had no choice but to be refunded so I could pay my customer back. Auto Ds does not communicate refunds; they take the money. It is best to understand their terms and conditions, which are up to 15%. Still, they took the complete 15%, costing me $150 USD, without making a sale, and then fees from the transfer. It's been the most expensive first experience with this company. Customer service is all over the place. You never get to speak to the same person, so that is where my issue stemmed from. Very frustrating and very upsetting, and I wouldn't trust this platform.

Yvonne did a very good job of answering my questions and pointing me in the right direction for training since I am brand new to AutoDS and drop shipping. I still have a question that she forwar to billing that is yet to be answered. that's the reason to a 4 star review. I hope that the rest of my time with AutoDS and their customer support will be the same experience. We'll that didn't work out well. I canceled my subscription less than 1 hour after viewing the site and I am in limbo at this point. I paid a full year and did not receive the discount that was advertised and now not getting a response for a full refund. I had a 14 day free trial so we shall see!! I lowered my rating due to the issues. Also got up sells once inside the app. I thought I had paid for them, but they were blocked out!

DO NOT USE THIS. USE "DSERS" INSTEAD FOR FULFILLMENT. 1. They charge you a 5% "credit card fee" every-time you top you your account to pay. 2. They charge you like $0.6 every order. 3. They STILL charge you 5-10% extra for the product vs if you were to purchase it yourself on Aliexpress. Im not done yet. I had to REFUND 100+ orders on Black Friday because AUTODS provided me with faulty tracking numbers which showed "Abnormal" status so I assumed they weren't getting shipped out. They were... but it was too late because I had already refunded the customers since it has been 20+ days since when I ordered. AGAIN. DO. NOT. USE. THEM. USE "DSERS"

I am rating this experience with Auto DS: AI Dropshipping & POD a 1 star and if I could have done 0 I would've. This app is a complete scam, its says on the shopify webstore that the app is free in order to get people to download it and then it charges you. Im sure this has happened to a bunch of people from this app and I am completely against the owner. Do not use or even download this app, the software in general is not good.

1. Charged $390.16 for usage during FREE trial period 2. Possibly some FAKE 5-star Auto-DS reviews: after writing this review, we noticed lots of short, 5-star reviews, claiming complete satisfaction and ease of use. 3. MONTHLY plan billed annually so we were told that meant no refund for unused months or login capability if cancelled. That's unlawful unjust enrichment. 4. Only got 14 products to sell: claimed variations of the 14 products counted towards 500-product plan limit. Unlawful bait and switch. 5. Fake or inaccurate product supply numbers. Most products were out of stock right after being listed, requiring daily inventory management and daily new product searching. Time wasted. 6. Made $0.00 the entire time from 9/13/24 to 11/29/24. 7. High-priced shipping for even lightweight items the entire time we were using the platform so prices weren't impacted by recent strikes, new tariffs, etc. 8. Low inventory and miminal listing-worthy options from U.S. Suppliers in our niche. Mainly China-based suppliers so most had 14 to 21 day shipping times. Auto-DS ad said differently. 9. Lots of non-wholesale prices 10. 1,000 (and counting) emails re: out of stock/price changes. 11. Inability to unsubscribe from emails once canceled. 12. Had to agree to a new plan for same time frame to access app again once we canceled. 13. Repeated login issues before the cancelation. 14. Confusing pricing tools: Lots of pricing errors that would've sold trending products at a loss had we had a sale from allegedly trending products. 15. No unique or "scroll-stopping" products in niche. 16. Hidden fees (i.e.the need for additional "credits" on top of in-app charges and monthly subscription) to fulfill the orders. 17. App was hard to use. 18. Still required more apps to compete. 19. Shall I repeat: we made no sales from 9/13/24 through 11/29/24. 20. Pricing analysis and strategies for individual products were hard to find. 21. Limited, argumentative, and/or belligerent support re: a refund until their manager saw this app review. 22. Lots of known issues 23. There were OUTDATED help topics and tutorials. There are more issues that we encountered but we can't list them all. We tried to stick it out as long as we could to make our money back and to see if the advertised hype and ads by affiliates were accurate. We just couldn't take these issues anymore. Business to business, we tried to discuss some of these issues BEFORE writing this awfully negative review. Update: After declining a partial refund or months "free" (we had already paid for a whole year) and mentorship, they initially refused to refund us fully until this review. We have since received all of our money back. Previously, one support person had also threatened to charge more if we didn't uninstall the app. Rest assured, uninstalling the app was ONE thing that worked except for the emailing issues listing above. We decline their offer for free months and mentorship because this app isn't cost-effective, intuitive, limited-staff friendly, niche-rich in products, or customer-support friendly.

Listen. If you're serious about ecom, find a private supplier. These people over charge on everything. They cant bundle orders so you'll be charged 2x shipping for 1 customer that ordered 2 items. They're constantly changing their prices and shipping takes forever. I was using them for testing so I don't waste my suppliers time but I cannot with this company. FIND A GOOD SUPPLIER! YOUR MARGINS WILL THANK YOU EDIT:: I had the pleasure of speaking with Dorina, a wonderful quality control manager. Dorina helped with with all my problems. Dorina refunded me on shipping and even gave me a month free. AutoDS is working on their platform to make it better and reviews like mine help them see what needs to be fixed. I may have been a little harsh but Dorina has helped me! NEWEST EDIT: This company is charging their customers for order fulfilment but is not actually shipping out their orders. You have to load a balance in their website which is a loophole so the banks can't actually dispute these transactions when the company doesn't fulfil on their obligations. They also increase their prices on products without notice. I have multiple orders where I paid for product and shipping yet these orders were never shipped. They included a tracking number and thats it. After tracking was provided, the products never actually got shipped. I asked for a refund on my remaining balance and they fully refuse to even return the money I loaded into their platform. I have customers contacting me daily asking why there is no movement on their tracking, this is the only way I was able to find out most of these orders were never actually shipped. I had help from a nice service rep previously but this overall experience is horrible. Stay far away.
