The Also Bought app is terrific. We have been using this along with the Frequently Bought Together app (FBT, and together these apps have garnered about 15K in revenue. The support is amazing, a well seasoned, professional, and kind staff who respond and resolve quickly to your service request. We highly recommend the Also Bought (and FBT) apps. You will NOT be disappointed.

Alright, let's skip the fluff. I'm not here to rave about how "awesome" the app is or how "friendly" the support team might be—because, honestly, who cares? What really matters is that the developers clearly put thought into this. They didn’t cut corners. This app focuses on one thing and nails it: an Also Bought Together widget that actually works. It delivers real results, not just some fake AI random product shuffle crap like other apps do, this one fits seamlessly into your site’s theme, and is good to go in just a few minutes. That’s the stuff that counts—not a bunch of flowery words or glowing support reviews. Seriously, amazing job! This app is the gold standard. To all the other apps—take notes!

Great app, it is easy to integrate it in your theme, it elevates the customer experience by displaying well chosen products and if you have any issue at all - their support team is available in the live chat and they take care of your issues very quickly. I srongly recommend this app.

Super easy to add manual recommendations. Just wish I could add those recommendations in bulk when making them for the same product but in a different print.

Automatic recommendations do not work really well. We have products which are gifts ($0 value) not listed and should be added to the cart only under certain conditions, and the app recommends/lists those products on regular basis. There is no simple automatic way to exclude those products from recommendations ... there are a few manual ways, like tagging or manually adding them one by one etc. There should be a simple way to not recommend products $0 value

UPDATE: After reading my review the development team went to work in a few days and fixed a major issue we were having with Pre-order products being recommended. They have fixed the issue and it is functioning properly now. The proper labels are being displayed to customers now so there is no way of them missing that the product is a pre-order. Thanks for fixing this.

The app works well overall but has a major flaw. You cannot use it with any back in stock apps or pre-order apps. If your pre-order app has a product out of stock, the Also Bought app will still display which allows the customers to bypass the pre-order and add the out of stock item directly to their cart. This has caused major issues because the customer has no idea that the product was ever out of stock when they check out. I brought the issue to the developers attention but they are unwilling to implement the fix which is too bad. Otherwise it is a good app but for us it has become unusable.

What is good: - The Also Bought block looks nice in our store (both in web and mobile version). - Relatively easy to install and configure. - Support team is there to respond. What is not so good: - You can configure recommended products manually, but for 1 product at a time. There is no option to do that for a collection. And also you can't duplicate already created manual recommendation and assign it to another product, which would make the process faster. You can either do it for the whole list of your products (including cart) via global recommendations. Or for each product 1 by 1. If you a have lot of SKU in your store, then it's quite a lot of work. - Another thing is that we wanted to configure certain recommendations for the cart page. But it's not possible yet. - As mentioned by others, statistics shows the number of products sold via the app, but doesn't specify which ones. So it's kind of useless to be fare. You can enable tracking, but you will have a note in a packing slip which says "also bought clicked" and you will have to remove that note manually from each order. That's not an option for us. Overall, I would say it depends on your goal: if you fine with relying on automatic recommendations than you can try it. If you wanted more flexibility, I'm afraid it's not going to be very easy.
