We've had a great experience using Yotpo Reviews so far. The automated review request emails convert quite well, and customer support has always been very helpful. We had a slight issue in using support articles to install the star ratings on our Collections pages and Doner P with the support team installed it for us without issue.

We had a terrible experience. The whole platform was buggy for us and it took forever to get things done. The final straw was that emails for reviews post purchase just stopped going out with no explanation. We switched to a new provider and got 3 reviews in the first hour (while not getting any in 30 days on yotpo.)

I am new to using this service, and as a person who struggles with computer lingo, I struggled with this app and modifying code. I did have several customer support team members try to help me. I ended up accidentally exiting all of my application pages where chat boxes were open, multiple times. I struggled, is putting it nicely. Wendyle Christian, Rove, and one other member helped me. I had a lot of questions, a lot of struggles to work through. The last support member I talked to was Wendyle. Very polite, well mannered, and CALM AND COLLECTED. I was a fury of questions, while refreshing my page to make sure I could keep up and understand what was happening. I was annoying, in my own opinion ( I can admit that. I was just trying to understand what was happening. Good intentions, but poor execution. hah!) The team members were very nice and worked very hard with me to make sure all of my concerns were taken care of. GOOD JOB TEAM! Thank you for your help. I literally could not have done it without you.

Do not use Yotpo as they have shady business practices and poor customer support. We made a big mistake signing a yearly contract for Yotpo SMS, Reviews, UGC, and Rewards. 1. Yotpo offered four free months of services by signing a yearly contract with them but still charged us $5,245.80 USD for the most recent quarter when the free months were supposed to begin (at the end of the contract). This is explicitly stated in our contract with them. When I brought this to their attention, they said they'd look into it, and it has already been weeks without an update. 2. If you use Yotpo SMS there is a "reloadable" balance to fund your messages. However, it turns out according to their terms of service this reloadable is nonrefundable, even if you stop using Yotpo for SMS. We currently have $5,681.42 USD in that account which is now just "Yotpo Bucks". I understand this is in their terms of service, but it is simply an unethical business practice. 3. If they try to sell you on the benefit of having an account manager with them just ignore it. Their account managers have a high turnover rate and hardly get back to you. Don't make the same mistake as us as it might cost you $11,000 as it did for us unless we enter litigation. I wish Shopify had higher standards and considered "terms of service" and customer support before approving an app into their Certified App Program.
