We recently converted from Lightspeed to Shopify POS and Workmate for our bike shop. Workmate provides all of the service management functionality that we were needing. The direct integration with Shopify makes it so easy and intuitive to use. We are loving all of the additional capabilities that we are now able to utilize. The Workmate migration team did a great job making the transition as smooth and easy as possible. They were also able to customize the application to meet our specific needs. We would recommend for any shop looking for a service management platform that works well with Shopify.

Oversold and underperformed. Had to manually create everything myself with no help from Workmate team (even though they promised they could and would). Doesn't integrate with Shopify POS the way I was promised it would. I'd rather pay a third-party app developer and work with them over sacrificing time and money and still not getting anything out of the app that actually helps my business grow.

Shopify's online tools are incredible, but their lack of Point of Sale functionality was a concern for us. WorkMate has filled that void, and then some. Shopify is lucky to have them in the mix. Without them, Shopify would not have worked for our business, or we would have had to run split platforms for sales and service. We self-implemented WorkMate during our peak summer season - migrating almost 10,000 SKUS from Lightspeed Retail/Ecomm to Shopify/Workmate. It was quick and easy to get up and running. We were able to get operational functionality on day one, and then we've made tweaks along the way. Out of the box was good, but with the tweaks, it's great. We are 60% online sales and 40% in-store with a lot of service work (work orders). We also do a lot of custom builds and service work for our customers. That frequently requires special ordering products that we may not have in stock, and that requires knowing what to order, what's order, and when that product has arrived.. With the tools WorkMate provides us, and the cross referencing from Work Order to Special Order to Purchase Order and back to the Work Order, we'll be able to manage all our projects and service requests in one place Great "app." I use quotes because it's so robust that it probably shoudl be called a platform.

Very solid team that helped us through implementation, customized the product to work with our business model. The worked to tailor a solution we could afford as well. Support is very good; team is incredibly responsive and diligent about solving issues that arise and keeps us posted on progress.

Workmate helped bridge the gaps that native Shopify lacks for our necessary day to day operations. For us, it covers serial number management, purchase orders and inventory management, and service tickets. It works between manually made orders as well as orders coming through from the online store, or the Shop App, allowing for a seamless allocation of in stock serials for order processing. WorkMate also gives the flexibility to manage and edit the serials, and directly ties to the product quantities to raise and fall as we receive in and sell serialized products. The WorkMate team has been more than accommodating in working with us to make the app really tackle the pain points of our business. The team is responsive and informative, and they have been a great help in implementing solutions as problems arise.

WorkMate has been a game-changer for our operations. It's an all-in-one solution that seamlessly integrates with our Shopify Point of Sale system, allowing us to create, manage, email, and track all of our work orders with ease. The ability to handle everything from vendor management to tracking incoming inventory within a single app has streamlined our processes significantly. We particularly love how simple it is to create work orders directly on Shopify POS. The customization options for labor charges, fees, and upsells give us the flexibility we need to tailor each order to our customers' needs. The integration of completed work orders into sales transactions is smooth, and the built-in features for deposits and discounts make managing our sales more efficient. WorkMate's capability to generate and manage dropship purchase or work orders for each store order and location is a huge plus. It also allows us to track related sales orders, purchase orders, and invoice numbers in one place, saving us time and reducing errors. Sending work and purchase orders directly to suppliers via email has been incredibly convenient, and the inventory receiving function works flawlessly.
