Disappointing Experience – Usability Issues While the app has potential, it suffers from fundamental usability issues that make it impractical for us to use for most of our vendors. Key Issues: 1. Commission Assignment Visibility o The app allows assigning commissions by percentage or dollar amount per product, but once assigned, product names are truncated to only the first word. o Example: If selling pet products, items like "Dog Bowl," "Dog Leash," and "Dog Collar" all display only as "Dog," making it impossible to distinguish between them. o The only alternative is using SKUs, but this becomes impractical when dealing with hundreds of variant SKUs. 2. Product Search Flaw (Partially Fixed) o Initially, the search feature displayed every product containing the search term, including inactive products, with no way to filter them out. o If the desired product wasn’t in the first set of results, there was no way to select it. o This issue was eventually addressed but was surprising, given the app has been available for years. Overall Experience: We reported the commission assignment issue early in our trial period, yet a month later, it remains unresolved. Additionally, the last update was on March 4th, meaning no progress has been made since our trial ended. This lack of responsiveness is disappointing, and unless improvements are made, I cannot recommend the app.

I'm using the app to manage partners on my marketplace, and it's been super helpful! It automates payment splitting, reducing manual work. I recommend it!

I have been using this app for a few weeks and have been enjoying it very much. My vendors are finding it very user friendly and straightforward and I have not heard any complaints! On the merchant side it is very easy to understand and use, and integrates seamlessly with the main Shopify site. The cherry on top are the amazing people behind it. I had the pleasure to work with Martin to optimize the app features for my needs and he has been so very helpful and available! He listened to my needs and delivered everything we agreed on in a very timely manner. I highly recommend this app and I can see my business growing with it. I'm very happy with this software. I have a startup consignment shop and I am using this to track my customers inventory and the amount I owe each of them. It's an added bonus that they can log in and see what's sold, what items remain in the store, and details on what they're owed. I have around half of consignors sign up to see their online portal.

Great app so far. Still need to use it a bit more to get a real idea. However its been everything i've been looking for. Great support too! The app is very professional. You get a full on well built structure for your clients to manage their orders and products. The back end is great, from sending emails to clients to allowing them to register.. All good things honestly. Nothing to say so far.

Amazing app. So many features and relatively easy to use. The customer service is excellent. It's really hard to mess things up on this app.

UPDATE 11/12: I've been using the app for a few months now and think I may have previously spoke too soon. It is a solid platform but still has some ways to go from a UI/UX perspective for both merchant and vendors. They have not yet spent the time to fully flesh out their UI for 3rd party integrations (shippo, stripe, paypal, etc.) So you'll run into errors messages that display API logs instead of a regular end-users can understand. Then when you reach out, they don't know what the problem is either. I have not yet been able to make any payouts and have sent a laundry list of other concerns. It's just not a feature complete platform yet. I've been using this app for just a few hours, and in a few hours, I've made more progress on configuration vs. 10+ hours it took me to get no where with Webkul MVM. This app has a clean, intuitive, UI/UX that "just makes sense". They don't overload you with configuration options out of the box, which sort of forces you to take smaller steps towards getting you where you want from a functionality standpoint. Then once you get past basic config, you can determine if you want to bring in new features via add ons. Beyond the above, the support has been phenomenal. This app is going places for sure.

Martin and the team from Puppet Vendors are absolutely amazing to deal with and very patient in helping a non techy person like myself get the best from their platform. I couldn't recommend them highly enough for their customer support and willingness to work in with me and my business needs. The system itself is also working well and constantly getting even better.

I recently switched to Puppet Vendors from another system. So far, I am LOVING this system. It is so much more "in-tune" with how the Shopify backend functions. Any feedback submitted has been greatly accepted by the Puppet Vendors teams, and support is top notch.

If you wan't to have several vendors on your store and have great overview on their commissions this is the perfect app for you. We use this app to pay out the artists on our store.

The support team is very helpful to resolve issues for us. When there is delay in fix, they refunded for the period. Martin is a very helpful making improvement of their app and system. He actively seek customer feedback for product improvement. Definitely recommend it.

This presents us with several challenges from a software point of view that meets the demands of our business model. The customization possibilities offered by Puppet Vendors have made this tool unique in the market and have been fundamental to our business model. Puppet Vendor has been a great transition for our store! Not only is it easy to setup but their customer service team is so helpful when you have questions. Understanding PayPal and Stripe's platforms are the most complicated part of the process but Puppet Vendor's platform makes it easy to integrate and payout our brand partners. We love that the brands can also have real time visibility into orders and inventory that consign with us.
