Les Petits Monarques

May 29, 2025  on Shopify

I was initially excited about Instant because of its Figma integration — the import works well for desktop designs, and the layout is preserved nicely. But the moment you try to make things responsive, it turns into a complete disaster. Margins break, text overlaps, sections misalign — and you're forced to manually adjust every single element for mobile and tablet views. What’s worse is that Instant doesn’t intelligently adapt layouts based on the imported design. You end up duplicating blocks, adjusting paddings endlessly, and trying to fix layouts that should’ve been fluid by default. For a tool that advertises itself as Figma-compatible and no-code, it seriously lacks in responsive logic. If you're planning to import Figma files and expect them to work across devices, be prepared to spend hours reworking your design manually. Very disappointing experience for modern Shopify design workflows.
