tl/dr, we have a serious yet seemingly easy issue to fix. Support is in india (we think) and it has been impossible to fix our issue since cin7 was installed over a year ago. It has never worked for us. ----- We have been having a desperate time with cin7 core. We far preferred OrderHive which worked for us. Dear Systems bought OrderHive and shut it down, and we found ourselves talked into moving to cin7. Our core problem which nobody seems to be able to fix is that, despite the myriad of settings and options, it appears to be impossible for cin7 to partially fulfil an order that contains items items we fulfill and items marked as Drop-Shipped. Regardless of what we do, when we ship the items we are responsible for shipping out of our warehouse, cin7 communicates back to shopify that all items in the order have now been shipped, inclusive of the drop ship items. In reality, the we have a separate integration with shopify to Inventory-source which handles our dropshipping. We want cin7 to leave the drop-shipped items alone. We have been operating with our integration with shopify disabled and we have been manually marking our shipments partially fulfilled in shopify and actually cut n pasting tracking numbers. Its been a total nightmare and we cant wait to get off this product. Its now been over a year. We have been going back and forth with support in India (there appears to be nobody local). We have demonstrated the problem numerous times. There appears to be nobody local in the USA to help. I am posting this here in the hopes that someone higher up in cin7 will FINALLY listen to us and help us with this issue. If they do I will edit this review.

Beware, if you try to cancel the subscription, your only option is to schedule a sales call. If you don't change your mind during the sales call, you are told there is a 30 days cancellation notice and you'll have to keep paying the subscription one more month. Of course the app isn't exactly great which is why I wanted to cancel in the first place.

App is ok and does the essential functions of inventory management. Has lots of integrations. Its quite expensive though for an SME with a lot of tools that aren't necessary and the interface can be a little complex to work with. Support also need a bit of pushing to get to the heart of issues and responses can be poor at times. Reporting module needs some work.

The onboarding help has been great. We migrated from Orderhive and Atulya went above and beyond to reduce the pain from migrating. She was very patient and helpful getting us up and running. We're still getting up to speed as Core has different functionality. In some cases more robust than Orderhive however there are some things in Orderhive , like one central place of truth for product information (eg prices) that pushes to all 3rd parties.

Cin7 has a wealth of essential tools and integrations that assist in managing our inventory in one central, easy to use location. It is easy to use and has powerful reporting. Would recommend for anyone in need of an inventory management system.

I was using Orderhive for order management. Cin7 is a much better program with more features. My onboarding experience was great. They really take the time to make sure everything works right before moving to the new program. I would recommend!

I like that I can integrate my sales channels (Etsy and Shopify - Amazon is an option too, but I opted not to integrate it to save money) and input manual orders in one place to keep track of orders, inventory, shipments, and payments. I used their previous product OrderHive, so it is all fairly intuitive to use, and they provided great onboarding and setup. I was paired with Muskan as my Onboarding Specialist, and she was very patient, knowledgeable, and helpful in getting me setup.

I love Cin7 , it's such a great software to track my inventory, my sales, my stock transfers, my cogs... full of reports ... very flexible tools, with a lot of integrated API connexion like Shopify and the customer service is amazing !

Recently after the merger with Cin7 (previously dear system), the support and issues have increased. We have a major bug in product integration for last 5 weeks and still waiting for resolution. For them it is not a priority and no proper work around provided. Not sure if this is faced by any other customers. No escalation channel, no account manager support. We are a customer for last 3 years but now looking for replacement.

UPDATE 18/7/23: After being with DEAR from their very first year and supporting them from the beginning, we are now facing a huge increase in our monthly fee with short notice, so will be cancellling our subscription. Dissappointing service now they are Cin7. Looked at quite few inventory systems before going with DEAR. Lot to like about it. The product upload from Shopify and subsequent integration, the logical way the fulfilment process is presented and flows, and barcoding. There have been a few smaller issues and suggestions along the way, but the response has always been swift and for the most part resolved quickly. Think there is also more upside with further refinement of some processes in development. In summary I would recommend it.

This app works quite well -- keeps inventory quantity updated, pushes Shopify sales over to Dear, allows me to bulk list inventory from Dear to Shopify. Features I wish it had: 1) a way to push over search engine listing previews. 2) a way to easily associate a Shopify purchase with an existing customer in Dear. If the customer enters their name or company slightly different than last time then a new customer is created in Dear. Not a big deal but somewhat frustrating if you care about customer purchase history. Overall, I'm pleased with this integration.

Earlier this year we made the nerve-wracking move to an inventory management system. After a lot of analysis we decided on Dear Systems. The support we received during set up was great, and the ongoing support I have had to iron out legacy issues has been fantastic. Having Dear Systems in place now means we don't oversell our products and can manage stock so much more efficiently.

After a full Trial Period with DEAR, we couldn't be more pleased! We needed a centralised inventory system with CRM capabilities that could seamlessly integrate and sync to SHOPIFY, XERO, as well as our offline sales channels (in which we generate our own invoices). Being in the food industry, we also needed a system that could track the shelf-life of our products, and make sure first expired items are sold first. This is an important feature for us that we did not find in TradeGecko, which we tested out as well. Though we have only be using it for under a month, DEAR has so far lived up to our wish list with flying colours; I particularly enjoy the level of detail available to us, to store relevant information such as supplier SKUs and multiple price lists. The system is sturdy and the UX is straightforward and intuitive, which has made the transition easy for the whole team!

DEAR is a top-notch system. For inventory geeks out there, this is the only system that - for the money - has multi-level BOM capability with auto-kit/assembly functionality. (TradeGecko, Stitch, Unleashed - none of those other systems offer that). That's huge if your store's products go through any sort of production, assembly or manufacture. For those who have used the system for a long time, it didn't used to have the prettiest interface, but DEAR just went through a complete overhaul and it's now more powerful and much more pleasant to use on a daily basis. If you're considering a serious system, this is the one for you.
