Buyers beware: with SB Coming Soon, your inventory may not be as protected as you think. ⊹ I left a glowing five-star review as a new user, and now I'm back to update with bitter disappointment after over four months of use and full-price subscription cost. Unfortunately, I’ve discovered a critical flaw in this app that completely undermines its core purpose. ⊹ The SB Coming Soon app claims to prevent early purchases of unreleased products, but in reality, it essentially just hides the purchase buttons while still rendering them (and the product IDs) in the code of your site. I'll refrain leaving public instructions for how to exploit this loophole, but suffice it to say, if you know your way around Shopify code, it takes less than a minute of effort to successfully buy an item that should be "coming soon." ⊹ This is exactly what happened to me. A high-demand, one-of-a-kind handmade item that I had queued for release was purchased hours before it was supposed to go live, by someone using this workaround. As a one-person shop, it was incredibly confusing and stressful, and threw my whole launch day for a complete loop. ⊹ Discovering this vulnerability after months of trusting the app is unbelievably frustrating. While it would (thankfully) not occur to most site visitors to look for this sort of workaround, clearly some will do it if they want the item enough, and it’s unacceptable for an app designed to restrict purchases to fail in such a fundamental way. ⊹ After uncovering this issue, I looked for alternatives to this app, and was thrilled to discover that it's possible to build a better, more secure Coming Soon listing using Shopify’s metafields and a bit of custom code. That's what I'll be using going forward. My app subscription renewed today, but I've now cancelled; here's hoping SB will honor my refund request for the upcoming month's charge. ⊹ I wish the developers well -- they've all been kind and helpful with smaller issues I've encountered previously. I'm very disappointed to have to change this review. I personally can't justify paying for the app after this discovery, no matter how friendly the customer service. I sincerely hope they can turn this around.

This app is very nice because it allows the customer to preview your products and descriptions before they become available. This is great especially when listings might sell fast so the customer has a chance to review! I downloaded it for my first shop update and customer service was great at helping me get it set up correctly.

I'm a new user on the lowest-tier subscription, and I'm so happy I decided to take this app for a spin. I started with a single month subscription to see if it would meet my needs, and now that I've had a day to learn my way around and configure and test the app, I'll definitely be switching to a full year plan. This is a wonderful solution to Shopify's disappointing lack of a built-in "coming soon" feature. ⊹ This isn't an especially polished app from a UI perspective, but it's fairly straightforward and easy to get the hang of, and most importantly, it works well and does what it says it will. I will note that the default badge options leave a bit to be desired aesthetically, and there aren't as many built-in customization options as I'd hoped there would be, but they allow custom CSS, which helps bridge the gap. (If you're not comfortable making basic CSS styling edits, I'd highly recommend getting setup help from someone who is.) ⊹ Within 1 day, I was able to get the app fully integrated into my shop and set up to my liking. The only real snag I ran into was the fact that the default element positions didn't look right with my shop layout, and as a relative CSS novice, I wasn't able to figure out how to change it on my own. I reached out to support to see if they could help me. I'm SO pleased with the friendly, responsive, knowledgable help I received -- SetuBridge responded right away, and moved the elements to where I wanted them within just a few minutes of getting access to my code! That kind of service gives me confidence that the app's developers have my back going forward. ⊹ Can't wait to do my first drop with this app. Thanks for making it easier to run my little one-person shop, SetuBridge!

It's a nice application with the features we've been looking for, for quite a while. We're using a self-bulit theme for our website so we needed assistance from the support to get the coding on point for both mobile and deskop. The help was fast and excellent and we can highly recommend this application!

It works very well, and is easy to use. I hope they add someday notification systems for customers via messaging like Telegram or others, and that would be perfect.
