Coming from Woo to Shopify. So this was a no brainer for us. We like to rely (again) on Yoast for decent SEO handling. Also a good customer service.

It's very good but be better. One problem I run into all the time is there is no search function. If I have a site with hundreds of pages I have to manually scroll through all the pages to find it. it wastes so much time. i just can't believe they didn't add a simple search function. and yes i mean pages, i realize there is a search function for products and collections, but no search function to search pages. when you build out local seo pages it's a pain to find them later

Don't use them. if you ever decide you would like to uninstall the app, all the work you did will be gone. All meta descriptions, titles, and the like will disappear leaving you a mess.fferent I want to change to a different SEO app and I'm too afraid to.

Yoast SEO is Great at what it's designed to do: help your store or site with Search engine optimization so you can rank higher on search engine pages. It also has AI that can write meta-descriptions, as well as Instagram and X descriptions. I highly recommend it for all of your SEO needs.

UPDATE: ALTHOUGH i STILL HAVE NO IDEA HOW THE APP WAS INSTALLED IN MY STORE A YEAR AFTER I UNINSTALLED IT, AND I UNKNOWINGLY PAID FOR THIS APP FOR 1 YEAR - YOAST CUSTOMER SERVICE DID REFUND ME FOR 1 MONTH OF THAT TIME. I am not sure what happened and how the app was 're-installed.' Their 'goodwill' refund of 1 month I do appreciate. i installed Yoast when I first started with Shopify. It did not help my shopify store in any way that I could identify - so I uninstalled it. When I uninstalled the app, payments were no longer being withdrawn from my account. Then, about a year later, Yoast was mysteriously installed again into my shopify store. I did NOT install this app. I was unknowingly paying for this app for almost a year ( partly my fault as i was not paying attention to my shopify bills closely) I was paying for nothing. I then uninstalled again and contacted Yoast. Yoast claims that they would not be able to install the app in my store without my permission.

A poor tool, I paid for a year so I utilize it properly for a year. But I didnot work. Even I am getting more results with a free version on my wordpress. Waste of money and a very expensive also

I did NOT install this app. I was charged many months for this app ( my fault as i was not paying attention to my shopify bill closely) I was paying for nothing. I then uninstalled again and contacted Yoast. Yoast claim that they would not be able to install the app in my store - they would not refund either even though it was obvious that I did not use their app for the many months i was charged. They claimed it was shopify's issue ? And that there was nothing that they could do. I call bull. Reading through the other reviews, there is an issue with Yoast charging shopify store owners after they uninstall their app - so I am not alone. No refund, they take no responsibility for an obvious glitch with their app. I DO NOT RECOMMOND THIS APP. Not only did it not work with improving SEO, it charged me hundreds of dollars AFTER i uninstalled. They will now follow up this review (as they did on previous reviews of the same issue ) by blaming me or shopify for their app being 'myteriously' installed without my permission. Poor customer service on top of all of this. Buyer beware. Also, please report issues with this app to Shopify admin to make them aware of potential scam like issues with their app.

I have been looking for an SEO app to help with website structured data and found Yoast. Their customer support is excellent, and Sid gave a detailed demo on how to use this app and put away my worries about meta description. After the demo, he also sent me a lot of helpful materials. This is a very good app for SEO and very helpful; it's clean, provides important features for search ranking, support is very helpful and quick to respond. But it's not quick fix, obviously, and requires a lot of manual labour to be utilized efficiently. If you have a lot of products, be prepared to spend time. A lot of time. However, Shopify is really bad for organic SEO ranking so it's really vital to use an app like Yoast to increase sales. I noticed an overnight jump in increased traffic on our Google Console Account after spending basically an entire day re-writing meta tags in Yoast. My only downvote would be the lack of option to automate product title to alt tags to save time, and the lack of information where to edit errors found in scheme and rich snippets, and so on. I also find the AI feature quite weak and useless in some respects; it should allow automated propagation of the product title to save on time. I also wish they had a different pricing structure as I find the price a little heavy for small stores. Maybe a one time price to fix issues could be an attractive option. I also don't like that the app leaves behind a lot of ghost code once you uninstall it, even after following the cleanup recommendations. But, other from that it's a good app that I would recommend.

I'm not a big leave a review person, but I love this plug in, makes everything so much faster and easier. The biggest party I love is the customer service. When they answer your question, they don't just give the answer, they qualify the answer and teach you the "why" of something. Very awesome plug in and support.
