We integrated GA4 using the Wixpa GTM app and initially, everything seemed to be working correctly. However, after a few days, we discovered that critical e-commerce events — such as purchases, add_to_cart, and begin_checkout — were either missing or being recorded inaccurately. This significantly disrupted both our GA4 data and Google Ads conversion tracking. As a result, within just one week, we experienced a noticeable and substantial decline in sales. Additionally, we found that other key events like remove_from_cart, add_payment_info, add_shipping_info, and view_cart were not firing at all. These are essential for accurate conversion tracking and campaign optimization. Unfortunately, based on our experience, this app caused serious damage to our data and sales performance. We cannot recommend it.

I set up GA4 with Wixpa GTM by myself, and everything appears to be working well. I’ve scheduled a meeting with support so they can double-check my setup and make any necessary corrections. Nimra from the chat support team has been very attentive and helpful throughout the process. The only issue I noticed is that the “remove_from_cart” event doesn’t seem to exist, but all other events are showing up correctly in GA4. I plan to set up Google Ads and Facebook integration later, once support has verified my GA4 configuration.
