I started by downloading Cart Lock, but as we chatted more (and even google meet!), he suggested another app that would truly fit my needs and YES they truly did: I'm using Savify Discounts which does everything I really need - exclude discounts from certain collections (aka SALES). A simple yet sophisticated extension of Shopify's discount code feature. It's effectively the same user interface with twice the functionality. What initially drew us to Savify was the ability to add custom shipping discounts, and this app helped us achieve exactly that.
