Shopify tracks finished products. It does not track the silver wire, coffee beans, fabric or packaging you consume to make them, so makers keep it in a spreadsheet that drifts. Recipe Stock links each product variant to the materials it uses. When an order is paid, those materials come off stock automatically, at the exact quantity your recipe specifies. Decimals are supported, so 2.5 g is 2.5 g. You also see the material cost and margin of each variant, and an alert before it runs out.
