To use this app, you need to have a contract and account set up with Rakuten Advertising (RAd). This app is designed to streamline initial tracking integration for RAd customers. Once tracking is enabled, transaction data is reported back to Rakuten Advertising to power your affiliate, display and/or search programs. After the app is installed and configured, affiliate program management is done through the Rakuten Advertising dashboard.

Not compatible with Shopify Extensibility despite being 3 months away from all brands having to switch to checkout extensions. Rakuten currently has no ETA to become compatible with checkout extensions, but I am hoping this will change. This leaves all brands on checkout extensions unable to use the app for accurate tracking until they update it to become compatible.
