Once tracking is enabled, transaction data is reported back to Rakuten Advertising to power your affiliate, display and/or search programs. After the app is installed and configured, affiliate program management is done through the Rakuten Advertising dashboard.

Not compatible with Shopify Extensibility despite being 3 months away from all brands having to switch to checkout extensions. Rakuten currently has no ETA to become compatible with checkout extensions, but I am hoping this will change. This leaves all brands on checkout extensions unable to use the app for accurate tracking until they update it to become compatible.
