Expensive as hell and no way to make wholesale orders if you want to sell in a physical location

I have been trying to build a clothing brand using Printify for about 4 years now. Here is what I can tell you... First off, don't expect ANY support. There is no direct customer service line, only "activities" that you open for online chat help. That would be fine if there was enough employees to read and respond to those tickets. If I have an issue with an order I just placed today, and I open a ticket: the order would be delivered before anybody looked into that ticket.....who is that helping? Secondly, The quality is all over the place. "Printify's Choice" gives you the best prices, but there is no consistency in the print. I had 2 products on the same order come from different providers. 1 product was about average, but the other looked like they only used half of the ink they should have. The design was a black box on a yellow shirt, and you could barely see the black box... On the bright side, they do have the best prices in on-demand printing, as well as low production times. They are good about sending reprints for below acceptable prints, and usually get it right the second time. The setup is pretty simple if you don't have any special circumstances (like nonprofits). In conclusion: They will get it right eventually, but not always on the first try. You get what you pay for, so the great prices come with some headaches if something goes wrong. ALWAYS ORDER SAMPLES! The digital mocks can be extremely wrong sometimes.

I’ve used Printify on and off over the years, and there are both positives and negatives. Overall, the products are good quality, and the prints usually turn out well. That said, I’ve encountered a few issues where the work felt sloppy. On the bright side, the design tool is user-friendly, and the mockups look fantastic. My biggest complaints are about the pricing and shipping. Some items, like postcards, are priced ridiculously high—I suspect it’s to make their “premium” pricing option look like a better deal. Shipping costs can also be inconsistent. For instance, shipping postcards and stickers just don't make sense, but shipping for journals seems more reasonable. Lastly, turnaround times are longer than advertised. While they often claim 1-2 days, you should realistically expect 4-5 days, and if your order still isn't ready by end of day Friday expect it to go out next week. It's really hard to advertise a correct processing time for customers so it's best to say 4-5 days in my opinion.

Absolutely love the products and ease of using the design program. Prices are too high when you include shipping for there to be any meaningful profit. Unfortunate because this would definitely be my goto pod store.

Would like the ability to download mockups. Also one annoying thing is when you type in the product details, e.g, title, description, etc., but then select the Edit Design link, all of your updates are lost. Slightly annoying.

I don't like how the prices will go up even though I haven't had any customers yet and haven't used the app even for a year

The t-shirt mockups are confusing. They go from an illustration to real or humans. The graphic looks small on the illustration and huge on the real images. I have to keep adjusting them back and forth until they look good. Posted image adjustment is not available without a total reset of the submission. That's a pain. It's would be nice to be able to adjust just the image without starting over.

I like it, however it is very frusturating when you have to pay a whole $7 PER SIDE of the shirt. it gets expensive quick, therefore you get less profit. If they don't change this soon, I will be finding different providers. I already found printful, which has not only better quality shirts, but they are the SAME PRICE as printify if not cheaper.

I like the app but it would be nice to search the T-shirts by fabric. The fact that you have to open each item to see what the fabric is make the process very time consuming.

In reality, it's not a perfect POD tool; many have various limitations. However, they do offer conveniences that make them suitable for beginners.
