If you’re looking to do embroidery, stay away. Im not sure i can convey just how bad the experince has been. They are not able to tell you why something "fails" digitsiation. Just that it does. The poor communication and what feels like constantly shifting embroidery guidelines make it unusable. You can submit a simple design a simple as three large uppercase letters (e.g., “ABC”) and have it approved - then submit the exact same design with different letters (e.g., “DEF”) and have it fail without any useful explanation. We check each design and all meet the guidelines so when you get told "does not meet" it woud be somewhat helpful if they could say "what part" does not meet . All you're told is: “Digitization failed for the embroidery. Please update the design to meet the embroidery criteria.” We only submit designs that already meet the stated embroidery criteria, so when we ask, “Can you be more specific?” we either get no response, or the reply contradicts the embroidery guidelines. Example 1 – Polo Shirts: We ordered samples of three different polo shirts to compare shirt quality and embroidery. Immediately, there were issues. We were advised: • Front Print – Digitized Successfully • Right Sleeve – Digitized Successfully (this included multiple lines of text, complex script, and an image of an aircraft) • Left Sleeve – Digitization Failed The left sleeve simply had a 1” x 2” rectangle. We were told it was “too complex.” Yes, apparently a rectangle is too complex. When we pointed out that the other sleeve included an aircraft shape and complex script (clearly more detailed), we were then told the sleeve was “unsuitable for filled designs.” We referred them to their own embroidery guidelines, which say nothing about filled designs being unsuitable. In fact, it specifically mentions that small gaps will be filled, and advises to “keep your design simple.” You know, like a rectangle? I don’t think a shape gets any simpler. Nearly a week later, we still have no clarity on why it failed. As far as we can tell, it meets all the criteria. Thankfully this was only a sample - imagine a customer dealing with this. (Which, when you think about it, we are too.) Example 2 – Embroidered Caps: • Cap 1 – Featured 3 capital letters – approved, no issues. • Cap 2 – Same design, different letters – rejected. Order cancelled. We were told: “Digitization failed for the embroidery. Reason for rejection: Small Shape/Text.” We asked, “Can you be more specific - which shape or text is the issue?” Their reply: “We are currently in touch with the team responsible for the embroidery process and will keep you informed with any updates.” We referred them to the Cap 1 order, which used the exact same layout and was approved. The next day, we were told: “Your order had to be cancelled and refunded to allow for production to continue.” What the...? We still have no idea why it failed - awaiting response. I was hoping Printify embroidery would be a good alternative to Printful. While Printify is slightly more expensive, it doesn’t charge a digitization fee like Printful does. But clearly, that comes at a huge cost in frustration and reliability. UPDATE 28 Aug: Whlst their other products and support was previously (5 stars), there has since been NO support on any orders. When tying to login to view support tickets it says "user suspended". No details why and no explanation. Chatbot also does not connect to an agent. At this stage, there is NO support. Horrible experience for what was once a great service.

POS App. I submitted a File for DTF Printing on a Onesie. I work with DTF daily, my customer received a blurry DTG print. Looks like crap. I reach out and send a pic from my customer and they say send another pic. the pic I sent clearly shows the horrible print quality. they are ripping me off and I'll never use this crap app again

Absolutely the worst print on demand system there is. I have tried so many times to use this but just keep going back to Printful. The shipping, profit and everything else about the Printify system is terrible. I gave it one star as they have a decent range of products but not useful if impossible to setup correctly. I have close to 8 stores so not new at this and I would pick Printful every single time. Sadly I just heard that both companies are merging so I hope they just trash the current system.

I have store on Shopify and Etsy using Printify. I've been using Printify Premium and Printify Choice to fulfill my US orders, and while the platform has many strengths, the recent quality control issues have been very disappointing. Out of around 10 orders placed this past week on my Etsy store, 4 orders involving the Gildan 64000 shirts were delivered in the wrong size—that’s a 40% error rate, which is unacceptable for any seller trying to maintain customer trust. The most frustrating part is that even reprint requests haven’t been handled properly. Order #22620698.30 was originally sent in the wrong size, and even the reprint arrived incorrect again. Now I have to go back to my customer, ask for another photo, and repeat the submission process—all while trying to reassure them that we’re doing our best. The other affected orders were: #22620698.36 #22620698.35 #22620698.25 I now feel I can’t even rely on the notes I leave in the issue submission box—so going forward, for every reprint I’ll have to reach out to your support team directly just to make sure the correct item is actually sent. That shouldn’t be necessary. As a paying subscriber, I expect a much higher standard. I’m spending more time apologizing and fixing mistakes than growing my store. Printify, if you are reading this—please take this seriously and improve quality control, especially for Printify Choice orders of Gildan64000. This is impacting small businesses trying to deliver reliable service.

I paid for Printify VIP expecting priority access, smoother syncs, and zero headaches — but instead I’ve been hit with constant problems. Products show “in stock” in Printify, but when I publish to Shopify, suddenly colors are missing. Your team told me to replace the supplier — fine. But that didn’t solve anything. Then I’m told to duplicate the whole product, just to get sizes to show up? I didn’t pay for VIP to waste time manually fixing issues your system should automate. It’s literally ruining launch momentum and killing my workflow. Either fix how Printify syncs size availability accurately, or stop advertising VIP as if it guarantees anything special. You’re blocking us from making money — and that’s unacceptable.

Printify has a lot of potential, but the user interface really holds it back. Simple tasks often feel confusing, and the dashboard layout makes managing products and orders more complicated than it should be. With a better, more intuitive setup, this platform could be so much better. Right now, it’s just too frustrating to use consistently.

Tried using Printify, but it’s been more hassle than it’s worth. It’s a great idea in theory, but the execution just isn’t there. Definitely not the smooth experience I was hoping for!

Printify’s interface feels clunky and unintuitive, making simple tasks more time-consuming than they should be. Navigating the platform isn’t smooth, and the overall experience is frustrating. There are better options out there.

I placed an order with Printify on October 31, 2024(Shipping between 10-30 days), and as of today, it is still in transit. The lack of accountability and poor service has been incredibly frustrating. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, communication with Printify has been going back and forth with no resolution in sight. Printify states that the matter is out of their hands and directs me to https://www.asendia.com/, suggesting I contact [email protected]. This endless loop of communication is unacceptable. Additionally, Niks Daniels Prohorovs from Printify offered a reprint, which is expected to take another full month. This delay is unacceptable and has caused significant inconvenience. Moreover, I have also experienced a lack of service with Printful, which adds to my frustration. The combined poor service from both Printify and Printful has been incredibly disappointing. I expected better communication and quicker resolution for my order. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and lack of responsibility displayed by both companies.

Printify is TRASH if you need personalized products. Works fine for regular orders, but the personalized order system is broken and buggy. After following all the instructions (which are contradictory) the personalization only works if I place an order through my own system, not for anyone else. It automatically sends to production the "placeholder" item. And even though I followed all instructions and the Printify technical helpdesk couldn't troubleshoot the problem, Printify wouldn't reimburse for the hundreds of dollars worth of incorrectly printed items. Even if I order myself, it will work for one order and then won't work for another item order placed immediately after. I have to cancel my own orders and re-submit until it allows me to review, edit and manually submit. No matter what settings we've tried, Printify will automatically submit orders that need review/edit/manual submission. Their tech support can't fix it, and they won't reimburse for the incorrect orders their system sends to production. AVOID PRINTIFY FOR ALL PERSONALIZATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
