Baseline Vendor Checker helps Shopify admins identify products with missing, default, or automatically populated vendor names in their catalog. Vendor fields are often left empty, inherited from defaults, or populated inconsistently over time. This can make it harder to reliably use vendor information for internal reporting, filtering, and catalog organization. The app performs a read-only scan of your product catalog and lists products where the vendor field is missing or may require review.
