Downpay solved a critical pain point for our high ticket item sales which has caused a lot of headaches and manual work for our operations team having to email and in some cases call each and every customer in order to get their draft order invoice paid to complete their order. Now with Downpay we can simply vault their card information while communicating when they will be charged their second half balance on their large order, then charge their card when their order is ready in 3 months rather than having to create multiple different orders to complete a single order. The team has been super helpful as well and more than generous with their time in assisting us setting Downpay and ensuring its working properly with our products and on our custom theme. Slipstream is a seasonal business across much of the US and with Downpay are able to run marketing even out of season and also maximize our database by converting much more customers with Downpay's deposit application as it allows us to then customize a ship date based on the customers input. Amazing app. I have such a custom, high end product that I desperately needed something like this for many years. When Downpay became an option, I couldn't believe it. I've used it for the better part of a year now and it has done great - lifting our online conversion rate and making it less of a gap to get the customer engaged with the purchase. The app is great but the service is even better. Diana is very on the ball with tweaks and adjustments, helping me tailor the app to our store's needs. Down pay App achieved exactly what we needed it to, which was a deposit on future inventory (we kept selling out). By using Downpay we were able to mitigate inventory risks and increase PO's after gauging demand. UI is buttoned up. After the customer initiates the deposit, their system makes it simple to charge the remaining amount from the 'Customers' tab. Support team was awesome to work with. Overall great experience, surprised more people aren't using it.

Excellent app. Works well with our 20% down, 80% later needs. Amazing, helpful and responsive team. For an app that affects money and order taking, you want to feel comfortable with quick support, and the DownPay team delivers!

Works well, documentation is very good, and customer support is even better! Despite warning me it could be up to 2 days to hear back, I got an answer within 15 minutes and Ian walked me everything thing I had questions about and even did some adjustments based on our specific needs. Couldn't recommend more!

Downpay is incredibly simple to setup and worked seamlessly for our Shopify website. The customisation options are very well considered and adapt to your website CSS. The highlight of Downpay is actually their support! Diana has been incredible - super prompt and clear with any questions I have. They also have very robust Help Guides which assist with editing CSS, customising emails and other FAQs. Would highly recommend

The support offered by Diana has been exceptional. She even went to the lengths of recording a video of on-screen actions to show us how to create a solution that was causing us a headache. The app itself allows us to take a deposit in a way that no others could, and removes accounting problems that other apps create by trying to short-cut the manner in which the deposit is dealt with. We have very particular requirements in the way in which the remaining balance is to be taken and Downpay/Diana have allowed us to find a way to do this.

Everything is very easy to use, and the customer service is very quick and efficient! Had questions about customers changing their second deferred payment method, and the resolution was so simple! Love this app!

Your app is fantastic, it's the only app on Shopify that can successfully take a deposit and capture the remanding payment all in one. We found it! An app that did exactly what we needed. With so many apps in the store it's hard to find a great solution that is backed by a team that is so helpful. Inevitably you will need support (that's Shopify and themes working with apps and getting everything to play nice), and each time they have been so responsive and helpful, even recommending other apps that will help our store! I have been using Downpay for a few months, It has been great to be able to take final payments for products with out bothering our customers. We have several unique challenges with our product and the support team has been there to expertly customize the integration when ever needed. They are based in Canada and have perfect communication skills. Support goes above and beyond to rectify issues with genuine concern for your stores success. I would recommend The app! 5 Stars!
