After a disappointing call with Shopify that i could not reply to the comments on my blog within the native blog feature in Shopify, I started looking in the app store and was flabbergasted at some of the pricing for the various apps. While I'm bummed I have to pay for this, the Disqus app and customer service made it worth it. They basically set it all up for me and I didnt have to touch a lick of code. thats enough for me to give it 5 stars. Oh, and it works like a charm!

EasyDisqus has really improved the utility of my Blog articles and product pages. The conversations generated and facilitated by the app lead to increased sales for me on a regular basis. The customer service has been really excellent for me as well. Great team. Great App!

Great support. Had a glitch for a unique circumstance and they were prompt to address it. Great service so far.

Issue #1. When a person comments on our content pages, disqus splits the pages. This means a new page is created for every comment. We must fix this with a manual csv upload to sync all the comments to one page (weird, right?). Issue #2. On top of that, it took several emails for Disqus to explain this issue. Each email from their customer service took nearly a week to receive. So frustrating. Issue #3. We experimented with an affiliate site. Disqus ended up duplicating the transactions and creating orders for their own affiliate network Viglink. In total, Viglink took over $300 in "ads" even though Disqus ads were turned off from day one. Still to this day, no one at Disqus has addressed the issue... much less payback the money. In summary, never again will we use Disqus. Hopefully we can help some folks not make the same mistake as well.

I see Disqus on most sites and see them as a reliable source for blog posts. Great decision as their customer service is A+. I reached out and Denys immediately responded to me and set Disqus up on my site. I'm not a techie at all and I didn't want to have to set this up myself. This app worked great. But we're especially impressed by their support team. They went beyond typical support of providing information, Den from Shopifier (not to be confused with Shopify) even offered to check our code and fixed some loading issues for us. They did it in a speedy, professional manner. Highly recommended!
