What Merchants Think

Overall, merchants generally have a positive impression of "ConvertMate: AI SEO Everywhere," recognizing its potential to save time and streamline the SEO process. Many users highlight the excellent customer support provided by the team, particularly praising Boris for his responsiveness. While the app's price is noted as high, its time-saving capabilities and ease of use justify the cost for several users. However, some variability in satisfaction can be linked to perceived value in correlation with cost and limited language support.

Key Strengths

  • Exceptional customer support, especially from Boris.
  • Time-saving automation for SEO tasks.
  • User-friendly interface and easy setup process.
  • Effective SEO feature tools like Magic Blog and Magic Link.
  • Significant improvements in organic traffic and SEO rankings for some users.
  • Customizability and ability to handle large catalogs efficiently.

Common Concerns

  • High subscription costs, especially for small businesses or entrepreneurs.
  • Support for only one language and target country without shop primary language changes.
  • Pricing structure perceived as steep, with expensive plan upgrades.
  • Occasional technical issues leading to incorrect content rewriting.
  • Some skepticism regarding the consistency of app effectiveness without premium access.

Final Thoughts

Although "ConvertMate: AI SEO Everywhere" is praised for its streamlined SEO processes and stellar support, its high cost and language limitations are significant concerns for some users. While the app's automation capabilities are widely appreciated, businesses must weigh the high price against the potential time savings and improvements in SEO ranking. Overall, it is considered a valuable tool for businesses willing to invest in a premium SEO solution.

Our experience with ConvertMate showed technical promise but was ultimately undone by unethical business practices. On a functional level, the app struggled with content generation in Finnish, though we acknowledge this is a challenge that will likely improve with future LLM advancements and continuous prompt editing. The critical issue that led us to uninstall was a matter of principle. As loyal, early adopters, we actively supported ConvertMate by providing feedback, brainstorming ideas with the core team, and even assisting in their due diligence with a potential investor. We were therefore dismayed to discover that the company had introduced a new, more affordable pricing tier without informing us. This omission cost our company €500 per month for several months, as we were kept on a legacy plan while new customers paid less. When we noticed and addressed this, the founder's response was dismissive, offering excuses instead of a refund or compensation for the overpayments. Given this profound lack of transparency and fairness, we can no longer support the company. While the product may evolve, we have chosen to partner with other businesses that operate with greater integrity.

How should I begin, I started this app just to have a good business with my shop like the rest of you and new sellers who are thinking about SEO and other great tools. When you decide to change your mind and you want to cancel a starter subscription or being a member. They don't refund you and you can uninstall their app but when the bill comes. I have to pay a decif of $143.62 CDN which is like $99 USD myself. After trying hard to ask for a refund of this they just close the ticket on you and say they tell shopify which is a lie. I talk to shopify support agent not saying any names and they are aware and they dont have any notifications or msg about your account or mine for example. So buyer/seller beware .

I have mixed feelings about Convertmate's automated SEO app. The services they offer are difficult to assess without full access to their premium plans. With subscription charges of $300 to $500 per month, the prices are excessively high, especially for entrepreneurs or small businesses looking for an affordable SEO solution. If you are an entrepreneur seeking automated SEO for your business, I don't think Convertmate is the right platform due to these inflated costs. Even if you manage to commit to their subscription plans, there's no clear assurance that your website will rank higher or generate sufficient sales to justify the ongoing expense. How can anyone be confident in the return on investment when the pricing is so steep and the results aren't guaranteed? It seems like Convertmate is more focused on generating revenue through subscriptions than truly helping businesses in need of effective, affordable SEO solutions. Until they offer more transparency, better access to features, and a clearer value proposition, I can't recommend this platform for anyone looking for real results.

I really question these 5 star reviews- twice had all my listings and descriptions destroyed by being re-written incorrectly and not according to SEO best practices by bugs in the software. Over 1000 products. They sort of were able to fix some of this, but really a total disaster for me. I was told changes could be undone but learned after making automatic changes that they could not be done. I would be very very careful using this. Also switched many SEO meta titles and descriptions with other products- a total disaster. They released this without testing or working out any bugs. I literally have spent 30+ hours fixing the mistakes so far.
