This is a wonderful app, one of the few that is worth the money! We have a lot of one-off product with daily uploads. We use this app to clear sold product on selected collections and to schedule our daily uploads. Life is a lot tougher without it! 100% recommend

Of all the apps we have used (and there are many), the support team for this app is the best we've encountered. They are SO responsive and helpful and the app is great, with a lot of flexibility to hide products on a schedule or based on tags and a number of other features. Highly recommend!

First of all, the app is easy to use and easy setup. Secondly, the customer service is excellent, which they respond within hour, although we are not at the same time zone. Once they found the problem, they helped to do the troubleshooting immediately. This is a very good experience and strongly recommend this app to all merchants

I am disappointed in the way that it is implemented. The app hides the product by removing it from the sales channel. If you have other products removed from the sales channel, then they will now all be mixed with no way to differentiate between them. And if any of your intentionally removed products from the sales channel have inventory, then they will end up back in your store, even if you don’t want them there. Btw...if you decide to remove the app, then all of your sold out products will remain removed from the sales channel. I gave the developer a simple change to make which will avoid these issues. If it is implemented or a different fix is implemented, then I might be willing to try it again - but not without backing up first. It should have been made clear on the description that removing the app will leave everything removed from the sales channel. It says it on the developer’s independent website, but not in the Shopify app store which is where we usually make the decision to try it.

Our business needed a process that published and un-published specific products at a specific time each week. When I first looked at Chameleon it looked like it was almost perfect, except for the ability to schedule a product to unpublish. After a few short emails with the developer (Samwise!), we quickly established what was needed and in almost no time Samwise built exactly what we needed. This simple, little app is going to save us several hours of work each month. I'm tough to impress but we received excellent service and support from the developer, highly recommended.

This is the app we've been hoping for! It's great for keeping your store "clean" for customers (hiding out of stocks) but it's critical for stores that want to debut items in the future. This app replaces Shopify's clunky scheduling feature, which only schedules future items to publish on Shopify, not on other channels. With Chameleon, you simply tag the item and it will publish on the date and time you've chosen - TO ALL CHANNELS you have it set for! That includes Facebook, Instagram, Google Shopping, etc! My store sells collectibles. We add new inventory every Friday night at 8 pm to keep our customers checking in frequently. That used to be labor-intensive - Even though I could write the listings in advance and have them publish to Shopify, I had to go back in and publish them to the other channels afterward. With over a dozen new items going live every week, that added a lot of time to my workday. Now, I ignore Shopify's scheduling section and simply put a tag on each item I write. On Fridays at 8pm our time, they go live to all channels, and I start to hear "Ka-Ching!" immediately. I have Chameleon set to hide out of stocks after 7 days so that customers who saw a preview of a new item but missed out on buying it know that it already sold, but after 7 days it disappears to keep our site clean. I have been using Chameleon for over three months and I trust it completely. As a matter of fact, I can't imagine not having it now! Set-up is super easy: Choose the stock level at which you want to hide items and whether to hide them instantly or set a schedule, choose the stock level at which you want to unhide them, assign a tag you can use to ignore certain items, and if you write listings ahead, tell it what time of day you want them to debut on. (The debut date will be set automatically by the tag you add to the future items.) That's it - It's done and ready to save you a TON of time!
