I don't think the permission is needed since the gift/discount is free. I'd like to see that be an option and it still adheres to Shopify guidelines since it specifically states if the gift is free it CAN be added to a cart.

We were super frustrated with their min/max product issue earlier - it wasn't adding gifts based on quantities which led to a lot of complaints. After speaking with Marko & Peter, they diagnosed the issue and fixed it, it is now working as intended. Just like any other user, at the end of the day we just want a prompt solution to our problem, and the team delivered it.

Super easy to use and does not interfere with our other apps. Simple solution to what we need for gift with purchase options for our customers.

Paying user here. We used their min/max product which is supposed to add gifts based on selected quantities, but it's not working, which leads to a whole lot of complaints. Support is slow and took HOURS (close to days) to reply, as of now we are still waiting for updates from them. Not recommended.

The support is friendly, helpful, and fast. The app is easy to use and has many options, even in the free version. :-)

It does not do what it advertises. It does not add products automatically as advertised, they say they can NOT do it due to Shopify regulations. My problem is that I want to be able to ask for a deposit when renting a product or selling a subscription (note: not a free sample or a free product). The deposit works as a deterrent and it would be clearly stated in the product page. I do not think any regulation should avoid this possibility to enforce a product (deposit) when another is added to the cart. If this is not true, then the app should change their advertisement and claim that they can only add "*FREE* product and free gift automatically", or enabling the user to choose how to execute it with a clear and explicit warning about the regulations. If any of these 2 options happen I am happy to remove this review.

It's insane how easy this plugin is!! I've been looking for a way to easily add a free product based on criteria, never found a good solution until now!!

Initially had some issues getting to bot to function properly with a custom checkout setup I have. But the team was super helpful eventually tracked down the problem + fixed it.
