After many months of frustrating and unproductive interactions with the team at Aspire IQ, we feel compelled to publicly share our experience.
We’ve been ignored, misled, and given zero solutions by this platform - despite guaranteeing influencer sourcing solutions to aid the scaling of our campaigns.
Despite trying to get in touch with their team to proactively collaborate and resolve platform issues, Aspire’s customer support (both within the platform and at the leadership level) is non-existent, and their few responses are unhelpful.
We first flagged serious issues in January 2025 concerning the quality and reliability of their influencer database. To name a few, these included: low-quality accounts, very scarce results for popular hashtags (occasionally less than 5-10 per search), inaccurate user data, undeliverable email addresses, unworking filters, and confusion regarding how often Aspire refreshes their database, analytics, and ER calculations.
After weeks of requests, we eventually secured a call in late February. We were hopeful to resolve some core issues and came prepared with clear, specific concerns spanning sourcing, campaigns, analytics, and functionality. What we got? Absolutely no solutions. They couldn’t answer basic questions about their own platform’s capabilities or provide any direction for improvement or clarification on how Aspire functions.
The only “suggestions” we received was to remove the 1% engagement rate filter and to remove the location filter (regardless that we are a US based company) - which renders the database completely unusable due to the flood of irrelevant, low-quality accounts.
The Aspire team tried to help by "sourcing" 600 accounts for us but this was zero effort as it was done in an automated way with some creators only having 5 followers. We spent time to manually review trying to give the benefit of the doubt, but only 40 were usuable.
At that point, it was clear our concerns were going to be continuously brushed off. We requested a refund - and that's when they went quiet for over 2 weeks.
As of this post, they still have not provided any updates for the feature issues we flagged, fixing broken features, or optimizing our usability of the platform.
