What Merchants Think

The "Amazon Importer by Infoshore" app receives a mixed reception from merchants. While some users find it easy to use and commend its time-saving features and seamless integration with Shopify, others express frustration over the app's limitations and customer support. Overall, its potential to improve business operations is acknowledged, but recurring issues in management and communication affect its performance.

Key Strengths

  • Ease of use in finding, importing, and managing products.
  • Seamless integration with Shopify accounts.
  • Time-efficiency in product uploading and management.
  • Responsive and effective customer support in some instances.

Common Concerns

  • Issues with misleading product limit claims (e.g., false "unlimited" product imports).
  • Poor customer support experience reported by some users.
  • Technical issues such as slow import processes and non-functional code instructions.
  • Limited manual update features, necessitating one-by-one updates.

Final Thoughts

While "Amazon Importer by Infoshore" has potential as a useful tool for Shopify merchants looking to streamline their product import process from Amazon, its effectiveness is hampered by management and support challenges. For those seeking robust features and good customer service, their experience may vary. Continuous improvement and clearer communication could enhance overall user satisfaction.

Re-evaluation: 18.07.2025 Don’t Be Fooled or Scammed — This App Does NOT Work I'm writing this review so no one else gets scammed or loses money like we did. This app does NOT work. Don't believe the fake reviews. We installed the app on November 7, 2024 and started with a paid plan. Initially, products were imported into our store and a few orders started coming in. But within just one week, we discovered that the app was full of bugs and wasn’t performing its basic functions at all. Here’s what went wrong: Prices were incorrect — we lost money. Inventory was not synced — customers placed orders for out-of-stock items. The app uploaded completely wrong products to our store — not the ones we selected. We contacted Pankaj immediately. He admitted the app had major bugs. For nearly four months, we had ongoing communication — every time they fixed one issue, another one appeared. We spent countless hours helping them test, report, and fix bugs. In total, we uploaded 539 products, exchanged hundreds of emails, and trusted them when they promised us a lifetime full version of the app in return for our support and the financial damage we suffered. And the result? Because of this app: Multiple orders were cancelled because stock levels were never updated. Prices were outdated, resulting in losses on every sale. We lost customer trust and brand reputation. We wasted over $20,000 in advertising on platforms like Google, Facebook, and Instagram promoting broken product links and listings. The emotional and time investment, our efforts to help improve the app, and the damage to our brand’s name are not even included in that number. Now, they refuse to compensate us or even provide the lifetime access they promised. The app is still broken, still full of bugs, and they’ve cut off support without resolving anything. If you're thinking about using this app — DON’T. It will turn your store into a mess, cost you real money, and leave you without any support. They make promises they never keep, and there’s no one backing this app when things go wrong. NOTE: Everything I shared here is 100% real and can be backed by emails, screenshots, and Shopify logs. Since then, we’ve found better apps by more professional teams on the Shopify App Store — I highly recommend looking elsewhere. ---------------------------- Re-evaluation: 14.11.2024 Hello, we felt the need to update our previous comment because they reached out to us and resolved the issues and misunderstandings that caused inconvenience. They fixed all the shortcomings in the app and quickly responded to every question we asked about its compatibility with our website. Therefore, we are now using this app. As we mentioned before, the app is well-thought-out, beautifully designed, and simple, making it an application we can recommend to anyone looking to upload products. We congratulate them and thank them once again for their excellent support. We hope they continue to improve the app and implement pricing policies based on different countries. We believe that this would attract even more users to the app. -------------------------------- DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL I’ve been using this app for three days now and want to share my experience step by step. 1- This app is a total disappointment, mainly because the support is horrible, even terrible. I sent more than 7 emails in the past two days, each one detailing my issues extensively. The responses I received were almost mocking—brief, unhelpful answers that didn’t even address my actual questions. It’s impossible to get proper support or answers to your queries. 2- They claim on their profile and website that you can import unlimited products from Amazon.com to your site. However, this is false advertising. I purchased the Starter plan and found out there is a 500-product limit. 3- They give the impression that inventory and pricing updates are unlimited, but in reality, they only update 1,000 items. If you upload more than that, you’ll end up facing serious issues. 4- They state that manual updates are possible, but once you sign up, you realize that bulk manual updates are not available; you have to update products one by one. There’s a lot of incorrect and misleading information. Note: The structure and functionality of this app are actually great, but the management is terrible. It’s sad because there aren’t many apps like this on the Shopify app store, yet the developers have completely ruined it with poor management. Don’t download it; don’t waste your money on a monthly subscription.

Adding the code, to the liquid them, to fix the buy button, does not work. Nothing in my theme.liquid matches instructions. Nothing is clear on instructions. It imports products, but if someone buys to my store, how do they get there order if they dont purchace from amazon. Total joke of an app
