Since 2026, invoices between Belgian businesses must be e-invoices delivered over the Peppol network. Zendat does that from inside Shopify. Buyers add their VAT number on the thank-you page or the order status page; Zendat checks it with VIES. For each paid business order it builds the e-invoice from the order, has it checked against the Peppol rules and hands it to a certified access point.
